Mutinybury, Franchise Killer, or Corey Maggelly?


Marbury and Francis would probly be traded for EJ, while Maggette would probly just be swapped for Mike Miller.


Thoughts?

B/c I think Memphis is 1 of the few teams that would even consider trading with us, so I'm just curious...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I think Marbury is the best of the 3 and they would be better with a combo of Marbs and Miller than Maggette and Jones.

Then again, one of those combos is a lot cheaper.

If I ran Memphis, my first preference would be Maggette by far out of those 3.

Gasol's game: iso, some give and go, also he has good hands and footwork and is good at cutting and rolling. Steph likes to run the pick and pop. Not complimentary

if you're bringing in Steph to play the 2, go with Maggette who has the skill plus the size.

Gasol is more of a Bosh type PF.

But he does have some post game, and yes he could do a pick and pop with Marbury.

If I was them I'd want either Masturbury or Majjelly.


Quite honestly it all depends --- do they wnna keep Jones or Miller. B/c dealing with us they'd most likely be able to keep Miller. Clippers arent gonna want to give up more than Maggette, so it would come down to a simple Miller swap.

^ No but he can hit a set 12-15 footer, just like alot of PF's.

Besides, if theres one area of his game he can refine, its that.

Gasol plus uptempo perpetual motion point guard like Tony Parker equals match.

Gasol plus crawl it up only time I move is when I have the ball point guard like Steph...uh-uh.

well, rumor had it that they were hot and heavy for francis but weren't going to give up eddie jones for him to orlando.

i think they'll try to push miller instead of battier.

miller + cardinal + pick for marbury

did you watch Memphis the prior 2 years when they had the horses to run? too bad the horses were all kind of chemically imbalanced because they had something powerful brewing.

Terry can and has played at a speedier pace but back in atlanta his decision making couldn't keep up with his legs.

Miller + Cardinal + 24th for Marbury is fine in my book. Although West is pretty high on Miller as it is.

But a starting lineup of Marbury, Jones, Battier, Gasol, _____ is pretty potent stuff.

And if it's us, I'd try and use the 20 and 24th picks to move down.

Btw, I think its fair to say West will be very interested in the likes of Marbury/Francis/B-Dizzle/Maggette/Terry b/c they'll come a whole lot cheaper than the Iversons and Pierces.
