An excerpt from the NY Post article.

It's been learned the Knicks signed Michael Doleac with their lower $1.4M exception, so they still have their full $4.55M left. While the Knicks, without Sprewell and Lavor Postell, have interest in Jimmy Jackson, two other free-agent small forwards available are Tyrone Nesby and ex-Knick Johnny Newman.

"without Sprewell and Lavor Postell"

See, this is funny. What has Postell ever done for the Knicks besides warm the bench. I always have this sneaking suspision that Postell is not really that good and get a good laugh when would-be GMs include him in on various trades as if he is one of the (smaller) keys to the deal.

Practice material and bench fodder at best.

Yes, it is pretty funny isn't it. It's even funnier when they propose trades that suggest the team trading with the Knicks will get Postell for their starting roster.
