No, stay where you are. There is not that much of advantage in this year's draft to warrant moving up to the teens. You could the same talent their respective positions.

we don't have enough roster spots to accomdate 2 more guaranteed contracts, unless you plan on letting Jackie B & Q Woods walk for nothing.

C - Curry / Butler / Turd
PF - Frye / Malik / Mo T
SF - Jalen / Lee / Woods
SG - Q Rich / Crawford
PG - Marbury / Francis / Nate

that's 14 guaranteed contracts for 2007, which leaves 1 open roster spot... & that's not even including the MLE FA that Isiah is bound to sign in the offseason.

KYLE LOWRY!!!

Thats what i would like to see, lowry and patrick Obryant. Lowry would instantly be the fastest guy in the nba[faster than tj ford and iversen imo] and he's a hwak on the D. Once you can get a guy who can truly put pressure up the court---taking 5-6 sec off the 24 and having a shot blocker[s] waiting for them at the end --cuts down on the opponents offensive effeciency. Thats what detroit and SA do--they presure the ball and have shot blockers--which puts tremenouys pressure on other teams--i know wealready have 1 small guard, but this would be the once case where i would have two smaller guards.

i read the post about trading for bynum and i dont think that people get that one. The Lakers took him as a buildinmg block core post kobi or later in Kobe's devlopment--could they trade him--yeah they could but i doubt it --i think obryant is of the same ilk--it might take him a year or two[hes only 19 as well] but he has more experience than AB and I dont see why Obryant wouldnt be able to be a 16-10-3 player in his prime.

i dont know what they are going to do with vets and really i dont care as LONG as they keeping filling the underbelly of the team with solid young athletic long players--were not going to be in position to get a top 7-8 pick but i can see us doing a trade with minnesota where they get marbury and we get that pick--bundling that with 29 and getting obryant.

larry brown get get the kmarts or offer alonzo mourning 30mm to say his kidneys hurt on day 3 and he';; settle for 24mm:>)

i would keep the underbelly together which includes
frye
crawford
lee
nate
butler
woods

im not big on curry but i wouldnt give up on him either[unless the right deal cam along] but we need a 7+ footer who can play and im not talking JJ

Follow my offseason plan and make the deal with Philly to move up to 13. Draft Brandon Roy, O'Bryant, Brewer or whoever may fall to that pick.

Briggs those would be two great picks, but for some reason I feel, lowry is going to blow the socks off many at the pre-draft camps and will go in the top 15. I hope he slips. knicks should tell him to work our for no one and guarantee him the 20 pick in the draft, this kid along with our young core of guys could be a real nice group..

Roy and O'Bryant wll be off the board before the Knicks pick even if they did manage to trade up to 13.

20 - Lowry or Rondo
29 - Ager Shawne Williams or Denham Brown
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

I say trade our #20 pick to the T-Wolves for their #'s 36 & 37 picks !! Then we draft..........

With the #29th pick

Josh Boone
Birthdate: 11/18/84
NBA Position: PF/C
College: Connecticut
Class: Junior
Ht: 6-10
Wt: 237
Hometown: Mount Airy, MD
High School: West Nottingham Academy
Team Site Profile
2005 Stats

Strengths: Long, explosive bigman ... Blue collar guy, does the dirty work to help his team win ... Has a great attitude, plays hard, wants to improve ... Strong defensively ... Explosive leaper, with good timing and instincts on blocked shots ... Giant wingspan gives him added size ... Fights hard for rebounds, hustles for loose balls ... Big strong hands, when he gets his hands on a rebound it's his ... Has a big, strong frame and should be able to add another 5-10 pounds without losing much mobility ... Should be able to see time at the center position in the NBA ... Runs the floor very well, excellent transition game ... Good vision and passing ability ... Scores well around the basket ... Has a nice turnaround jump hook ... Knows his limitations offensively and plays to his strengths ... Has excellent durability having missed just one game in his college career ... Quick feet, very nimble for his size ...

Weaknesses: Limited offensively ... Scores a majority of his baskets on dunks, put backs and shots around the basket ... Struggles from the free throw line ... Can get down on himself when things aren't going well, needs to become better composed ... Not a superstar prospect, his upside is limited somewhat by his offensive shortcomings ... Needs to develop better offensive post moves ... Must develop a consistent mid range jump shot ... A little rigid in his upper body, not fluid with his ball skills ...

-Aran Smith 1/5/06

With the #36 pick

Denham Brown
Birthdate: 1/6/83
NBA Position: Shooting Guard
College: Connecticut
Class: Senior
Ht: 6-5
Wt: 220
Hometown: Toronto, Canada
High School: West Hill
Team Site Profile 2005 Stats

Strengths: Shooting guard with solid all around skills ... Excellent scorer with underrated shooting ability, but can be streaky ... Unselfish, team player, very coachable ... Great attitude, hard worker ... Nice athlete, good decision maker, instinctual ... Plays under control, solid fundamentals ... Good body strength ...Good vision and passing skills at the 2 position ... One on one skills have improved along with his ball handling ... Excellent free throw shooter ... Wants to take the big shot, and is clutch as he proved against Gonzaga winning the Maui Invitational with a closing second shot ...

Weaknesses: Has yet to put together a standout college season ... Average first step ... Quickness is good but not great, he isn't a superstar athlete, but is solid ... Ball handling ability still needs improvement ... Doesn't really stand out in any area, besides his offensive game ... A year older than the rest of his class ... Stats get limited somewhat playing at UConn with so many great players ... Has struggled sharing time with Rashad Anderson at UConn ... Average size and athleticism makes him an average defender, but he gives solid effort ...

Notes: Has performed incredibly well in International competitions for Team Canada, with big scoring outbursts playing against professionals ... Once scored 111 points in a high school game ...

-Aran Smith 12/29/05

With the #37th pick

Daniel "Dee" Brown
Birthdate: 8/17/84
NBA Position: Point Guard
College: Illinois
Class: Senior
Ht: 6-0
Wt: 180
Hometown: Maywood, IL
High School: Proviso East
Team Site Profile 2005 Stats

Strengths: The one-man-fastbreak is a blur on the hardwood and if you aren't quick enough, don't expect Mr. Brown to wait for you. While firing bullet-passes, his dribbling and distribution skills are as good as anyone's. A capable scorer, when he decides to show it, he can set the nets ablaze in the blink of an eye. Also a true leader with his constantly moving motor-mouth, expect him to make the All-Quote First Team.

Weaknesses: You first have to look at his size, barely tipping the 6-foot mark. His ability to guard against the bigger guards is still up in the air, but don't think he will fail for lack of effort. Also can get into pass/shoot modes; He looks to involve his teammates immensely and will pass up his own shots for the sake of others, or, where he attempts to tire out the scoreboard operator single-handedly.

-Frank Rusnak - High School Elite

We now have a rugged PF/C like Oakley used to be in Boone, a true PG as fast as TJ Ford just bigger in Dee Brown and a SG who can do it all like Joe Dumars in Dehanam Brown !!! From here all we have to do is trade our big salary guys.

Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!
