Stephon Marbury. Someone who just takes it to the rack at will, has great speed, doesn't use any of the And 1 stuff and can hit the J when needed. Only difference is what I mentioned in the title, and Leo is proving to be CLUUUUUUUUUUUTCH.

the words "clutch" & "Marbury" should never be mentioned in the same sentence.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I never said he was. I just meant their games, and nothing else.

When it comes to Barbosa'a development, The Suns are thanking their lucky stars they got rid of Stiph and brought in Nash b/4 he learned all the wrong things.

Now if only the same can be done here for Nate. Already had one Natebury incident...

Leandro passes the ball and immediately sets a screen for the shooter...A Nash trait. Steph passes then stands there and gives the shooter "the stare."

Many of you will be crushed to hear that Steph mentored the kid while he was in Phoenix and he loves Steph.

d'antoni last night said that he made a mistake with barbosa trying to make him a pg. when he's really just a scoring guard.

that's what somebody should've done with diddy, francis, and steph when they were younger. they probably would've helped their teams win more games.

they all still think they're pg's...when they're not.

ditto.

He helped him get his first car. Steph is a humanitarian, I'll give him that.

Barbosa is learning how to play from Nash.

I am just curious as to why if Steph is such a great humanitarian and generous person, why does almost every teammate he has hate him?

Because you obviously interpret it that way in your skewed version of reality. Bro, it's a serious question....There hasn't been one veteran player that he has played with that had good things to say about him.

He does take rooks and young guys under his wing, Leo, Nate, Lee, Frye.....bought the Knicks rookies suits, I am not denying that, but seriously....I have heard alot of bad about Steph from vets, never any good. I will point out just quotes abou Steph that were posted in other threads....Amare, Marion, KMart, Aaron Williams, KT, Q, KG.....I just never hear anything good about him from past teammates...Oh, wait.....Penny said something good about him.

An average career(before this season)of 20/8 says other wise. I truely belive when steph stated he was the best pg in the league, he probably should of said, " best scoring pg" I mean for whats worth the guy can flat score at will if givng the oppertunity.

he would've been wrong on that too... unless you happened to forget guys named Allen Iverson & Gilbert Arenas.
