uhh... what am I voting for?

I never hated Tim. He just should never have opened his mouth to KMart and talked about what a tough guy he was, then back it up with nothing. He may have been hurt but he sucked the next year also.

Q has never made excuses.. I'm looking for him to have a bounce back season

TT by a landslide. I'm never disappointed in someone playing hard (Q). When someone has all the talent you could ever asks for but plays like a wuss (TT), you should hate him.

Well I voted differently because I saw the poll first, before I saw your comment. Others may have made the same mistake. You could create a new thread, put a little note in this one that you've done that and one of the admins will lock the thread.

How sad and ironic is this that TT is giving the Suns what Q Rich couldn't provide last year in the playoffs. A consistent outside threat that the defense must respect.

TT is far superior to Q Rich.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

TT is playing for a contract. Qrich brings effort every night. TT has superior skills, but an inferior will. People harp on Curry, but TT brings it far less often. TT is one of the most frustrating Knicks I've ever watched. I hate him. At least Q tries and he defends. I think he'll be better next season.

TT shot 45 percent his half season in his first year in NY. He got hurt and left at least 3 games early which brought down those numbers. What did he do wrong the first year? He also had a good playoffs against the Nets. He also shot 40 percent from 3. He played well overall his first year here. He didn't do great his second year but was mired by personal problems. He still managed to shoot 43 percent and over 40 percent from 3. The fans hatred towards him astonishes me. He was never that bad. Look at Q Rich and Penny Hardaway and people like that if you want to get pissed.

Geeze.....TT picked to go to PHX and is scoring on the highest scoring team in the L-go figure-, TT is the tallest player on PHX and is rebounding-go figure-, TT is playing for a contract-go ask the Bucks how that worked out last time-,TT hasn't even played the whole season-he has the freshest legs in the league, TT picked PHX and is playing with Steve Nash-aka Jason Kidd West, you think he picked to go to PHX in a contract year by accident?-

In his contract year with Milly(99-00), his scoring jumped up about 3 points per game, rebounds about 2 per game...he didn't show a marked improvement until 03-04 when he was traded to us, then he jumped to 16 per with us until the end of that season then fell to 12. He does this he is the Erik Dampier of the SF/PF set.

Here are his numbers with the Knicks. Compare them with Q Rich and you tell me who stole money.

TT averaged 16/5 his half season in his first year in NY on 45% shooting. Not shabby.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

TT is the tallest player on Phoenix and is now rebounding, go figure? What does that mean. He is the same height he always was. Who cares who is the tallest on Phoenix. Sean Marion gets 12 boards a game and is 6'7", go figure. Duh.

And his second FULL season on NY he averaged 12 and 3...le's not forget that little nugget. Tim Thomas makes $14,364,063. Q makes 7 mil this season. Q averaged 8ppg, 4.2 rpg, 1.2 apg, and played VERY solid defense-something TT just doesn't do .....http://www.hoopshype.com/salaries.htm. How about you tell me who stole Dolan's money?

If TT had Marion's heart he would average 14 rebounds per game easy....look at PHX's lineup.
Nash doesn't board, Diaw is the only guy other than Marion who boards, and he only grabs between 5 and 6 and plays the 2!
To steal a quote from Larry, when he is 6-11, and is the biggest guy on the court for the team that shoots/and gives up the most shots in the NBA he should grab a couple rebounds by accident.

You can't just totally blow aside the way Phx plays when considering the stats for players on their team.

Forget salary, Q Rich did less than TT even at TT's worst. You don't pay salary, it shouldn't bother you. Both underperformed in the years you mentioned. But only TT is lambasted. Q Rich should be as well if there is consistency. Besides all of this, TT does rise to the occasion in the playoffs as this year and his time in Milwaukee versus the Pacers showed.
