while it will be hard for Jerry West not to throw every asset he has out there to land Jerome James, I'm thinking Curry is a more viable option.

How about Eddie Jones and Shane Battier for Eddie Curry and Steve Francis?

IMO, thats paying too much. I havent lost faith in Eddy Curry.

battier, eddie jones, warrick + #1 for curry + francis + spurs #1

then all we have to do is dump marbury and we'll be under the cap BIG TIME in 2 years.

NY Trades: Steph, stevie, Malik, Jerome and Channing (have to give to get)

for: Eddie Jones (last year of contract), Hudson, Hassell (defense), Griffin (shot blocking), Camby (shot blocking center that's not washed up - maybe fragile though...), Miller (LB type PG)

Memphis trades: Eddie Jones and Troy Bell

for Mark Blount (center), Banks (tough PG), Patterson (tough SG/SF defender)

Sota trades: Blount, Davis, Hudson, Jaric, Hassell, Griffin, Banks

for Steph, Kenyon, Jerome "Big Game" James

line up: PG-steph, sg-McCants/whoever, SF-KG, PF-KMart, Center-James/whoever

Denver trades: Kmart (headache), Camby, Andre Miller, Patterson

for: Franchise (PG), Malik Rose (good vet), Channing Frye (for Camby), Ricky Davis (SG they need next to Melo), Jaric (PG/SG combo)

way too early to give up on Curry for the price we paid for him.

you know, people were calling Odom a bust at one point when we he was about 23-24, he'd been in the league 5 years and people said he would never do anything, etc. Sometimes its more about the person's age and learning to mature and to bring effort than constantly harping on "years in the league." Curry is 23.

just because you hate the trade doesn't mean you should hate the player.
