haha... i didn't realize ATL was so high on White Chocolate.

atl needs a pg in the worst way. jwill is a relatively cheap two year rental for $8mil per.

why wouldn't they simply sign a PG outright then? why give up Childress or a 1st rounder to get him when they have all that cap space to sign a FA?

then we buy him out. jwill doesn't matter. he's just filler. the objective to get a young core and eventual cap space. jwill is just a means to an end. we can buy him out for all i care.

UN-REAL-IS-TIC...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

and btw -- Memphis still has other shootes besides Miller.

E. Jones
Battier is solid from beyond the arc
Damon can shoot well

And hell, they can pick up Steve Novak in the draft if they want.

i would think jefferies to ny has no shot. dude has played himself to a midlevel - why in the world would he want to sign with this circus when he can get the mle from someplace else? and a place that'll give him more offensive freedom?

B/c Isiah will make him feel wanted.

I didn't say it was definite, I said its a realistic possibility.

Battier is not a shooter; Eddie is 35 and Damon is 33. Novak to replace Mike. You had to wrestle with your fingers to type that.

The idea that teams are going to bend over and spread because it sounds good in yours or my mind is what the Isiah era has reduced us Knick fans to.

Do you guys think Memphis is gonna trade Miller? Miller has been their steadiest player all season.
Miller dissappeared in the playoffs and he's their second leading scorer. Yes I think they would trade him especially for an explosive scorer like Steve Francis.

Bobs, maybe making 1 of those trades will work out, but you do realize we have like 94,498 small fowards after all those trades right?

TMS, I don't think Jason Williams is anywhere close to that all flash player he once was. I haven't seen him even attempt something crazy in the past year or so. He's been much more toned and if you really think he'd be trying that junk under Larry Brown, you're crazy. I don't think that's the issue with J Will. I think the issue with White Chocolate is defense defense defense. Hence, he'd fit in perfectly with this team. The offense, however, I think Larry would love at this point. He's no longer the shot jacking stupid decision making PG anymore.

Looking up, I've come to realize that those trades completely contradict eachother. You can trade Mo T 2 times?

please, White Chocolate is a cheap imitation of Stephon Marbury (as sad as that sounds)... i don't want him & there's no way you can convince me he'd be a good fit here... we need a guy like the other Jason Williams from Duke, who we can sign to a FA contract... that's the type of risk i'd love to take... let Toblerone play elsewhere.

Why is he a cheap imitation of Stephon, besides the defense? He's totally bought into Pat Riley's system.

let's just put it this way... if i had to choose which of the 2 i'd rather have on my team, i'd pick Stephon... & everyone knows how badly i wanna run that guy outta town... let's just leave it at that... White Chocolate is not the PG i want running LB's system by a longshot.

I'm not saying I want him either BTW, b/c of the defense. But I just don't see him with your eyes. I think he's become a much better basketball player. Not in Steph's league talent wise, but like I said, he's bought into Hubbie, Mike Fratello and now Pat Riley.

Again, I agree. There are other options I'd rather have, but and I'd suggest going other areas, but he's not as bad as you say.
