"Nuggets are 30-9 without Kenyon"
"The players are behind the suspension"

"He has a tough contract to swallow, but there is always Isiah Thomas"

That just hurts man.

It's the truth man. It is the truth. Prove them wrong.

These announcers are SO bad though, independent of any Knick-bashing. Who did that game - Musberger and Tolbert? Yuck! I can't stand Musberger now for about 30 years running. The only thing I give him credit for is the time I saw him late at night on a street corner in Manhattan about 20 years ago, trying to plant some kisses on the neck of a girl at MOST 1/2 his age. Brent you dog!

I usually like Tolbert, but he was terrible last night. All he did was bash the Nuggets. Granted, I am routing for them, and they played like absolute trash. However, it loses it's luster after you continue bashing and bashing them for awhile and it's just flat out obnoxious to listen to.

Takes us back to the Melo debate. I would not max the guy. He's a great scoring small forward, but he's a complimentary piece. I think any team that maxes him is making a mistake if their aim is to build toward a chmapionship-contending club.

I agree 100% with tfk and Marv. Carmelo gets a lot of credit for the NCAA championship. He is a very good player but he isnt a max contract player in the NBA. Nuggets are extremely overrated and Clippers are extremely underrated. tkf said it best: the Nuggets are getting beat by a better team.

Amazing the impact Sam has on every club when he arrives. Of course he also burns out on them and vice versa before too long. Clippers are in a good position with Sam mentoring Livingston and getting him ready to take over when Sam needs to split.

Who is overrating them? I think pretty much everyone agrees that they are in desperate need of some pieces who can score. Hate to say it, but someone like either Marbury or Eddie Curry would be perfect for that team. The team however, is getting older, and should probably consider rebuilding. I was dissapointed in Melo last night.

With that being said, he's still very young and as others stated, not a franchise player. But still a great piece for the Nuggets to have. They'd be crazy to let him go.

But what do you do if he squeezes you for the max? Any agent is going to push that agenda, right? How so you handle that if you're Denver?

let the market dictate what melo is going to get. when he's restricted, let other teams bid on him and then decide if you want to match or not. melo is a nice talent, but like you said marv, a complimentary one. as a league wide rule, no more max contracts should be doled out on potential...but in franchise player ability. lebron is already showing he's a franchise player. melo hasn't yet. therefore that max deal should not apply.

chicago made a mistake giving chandler $63 mil. the difference tho is that he's a big man and big men will always get that type of coin. but i think they learned their lesson on that one.

Nuggz are getting beat by the team with the better record.

old 2 division system Nuggz would've been the lower seed.

And don't underplay George's battle with and benching of Martin who happens to be the only person on the team who can check Brand.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

So you work out a S&T for him at that point like NJ did with KMart? I thought Thorn was brilliant to do that rather than give money to him he didn't deserve. Of course it almost cost them a mutiny by Kidd, but they sure smoothed that out with Carter and Kristic, didn't they? Thorn has the opposite touch as Isiah.

Incidentally, now that K-Mart is showing that he is somewhat of a team cancer, doesn't that take away some of the weight of his comments about Marbury during his time there in NJ? Yes, it does.

killa you're a desperate man.

Here's what lost KMart any credibility a long time ago. When the Nets played LA in the finals, KMart sucked for 3 games. Disappeared. Then, after finally showing up for the last game, to the tune of I think 36 points, he goes off on a tirade agisnt KVH for failing to show the whole series. Blames the whole thing on Keith.

Real stand-up guy, KMart.

I'm not desperate, I am just raising what i thik are good points.

I guess the blaming Keith thing is something he learned from Steph. LOL! Alot of players must hate KVH tho, he costed Dallas a playoff game against Houston last year just because he was scared to touch the rock and passed the ball out of bounds to no one.
