I'm a Brown supporter but I would be pissed if we brought in Zo or K-mart. I cannot believe they are even considering those guys. They are so injury prone.

well I hate alonzo mourning for reasons that have nothing to do with his actual basketball abilites and think it would be and abomination for him to be playing on this team, but putting that aside, if you look at the way he has played for the heat I think he would be a great addition for us(going from a basketball abilities standpoint). But I actually dont think alonzo wants to play here anyway, since he is still getting paid by the raptors I think the only think he cares about at this point in his career is a ring, which obviously he couldnt win here. so I doubt he's be willing to sign for us anyway.

Kmart I dont particularly want, but wouldnt be opposed to bringing here, since (according to his agent anyway) he will be completely healthy by next season. but It should be noted that if we trade for Kmart than we probably wont be able to resign frye. so zeke will only acquire him if he plans to trade him (for more than what he payed for obviously) or plans to trade frye, or if frye is included in the trade, but clearly that can only happen if we get something else of value from denver like andre miller or something. and also even if martin isnt completely healthy by next season I dont think it is over for him yet. I think if the knicks are willing to be patient with him and bring him back slowly than I think it could definately pay dividends.

as for ratliff Im not too adding him either. remember, while its true that larry brown likes players like ratliff, even larry knows when a player is too old to receive a certain amount of minutes. if you guys recall, while its true antonio davis started while he was here, he only averaged 21 mpg, which wasnt too detrimental to our offense or the the development of our young players. ratliff would receive about the same.

claxtion hasnt been injured too much this year, so Im not too worried about that, but it is a concern, and I think Isiah will take that into consideration when they discuss the lenghth of his contract. but I think speedy could be a good addition here, as a backup pg. or starting pg is steph is traded.

Aw comeon! Bad knees? Kidney ailments? Bad attitude? Over 30? These are the prototypically perfect Knicks. Where do I sign?
