I think we should continue to think young, healthy and athletic towards an emphesis on defense. If you know it was broken or that it might break, then don't take it. I think the Knicks have been shopping at the second hand store for 'wayyyyyyy' too long now.

Too bad. The sad state of affairs will just continue for years to come. No thoughts or clear plans on what to do for the near future. Just take whatever, if it's avaliable.

But! If both guys are healthy? And the buy into what brown is selling? Stranger things have happened.

On another note: This is the big "plan for the future"? This is the blueprint for long-term winning? Two players, one who is breaking down at an early age and another who cannot/should not play big minutes and could have to retire at any time? For that matter KM's minutes have to be watched very closely with his conditions.

I hope you are right. Signing him would be wrong on so many levels. Not only was he a big villian from a hated team, he also had a kidney disease. The biggest reason is that he plays for the Miami Heat. I hope no one forgets how that team screwed over our best chance of winning in that decade? Injury prone or not, I hope there are no Knick fans that want him on this team. I would throw up if I saw Alonzo Mourning in a Knick uniform. I dont care for Spike Lee's "Hate the player, Love the player" commercial. I will not root for the Knicks if Alonzo is wearing a Knick jersey.
