at the TNT halftime show they had webber and he was discussing talks of the sixers wanting to blow up the team. philly isnt too happy with daly and they have one of the highest payrolls and still arent in the playoffs. would they do daly for maurice taylor and our 2 first round picks? it gives us the needed freedom to resign butler and woods. i remember brown saying that daly was a game changer when we played them; he got like 6 blocks. in a solid 30 mins starting he gets 9 rebs with 2.5 blocks. i think a nice rotation of him, curry, and frye would be incredible.

I watch most Philly games, and would probably deal any of our FC players (apart from Frye) for Daly. He's not a guy that will put up a lot of points, but, like Chandler, he's a defensive and rebounding presence. The problem is we don't have the contracts to make an attractive match.

i live in south jersey so i watched him a lot. he is a great shot blocker from the weak side but not a solid "defender" if he plays straight up. guys can over power him or go around. awareness is not great. offense is horrid mostly. however, he is athletic and energetic. can work well with curry.

I think it's a possibility that Larry will want to go after Iverson or Dalembert and the Knicks will take Webber back to get one of those guys. Jalen and Mo T and Frye or something would work.

Read this... obviously a handfull of diehard Phili fans. They essentially say Dalembert is overrated, overpaid and dumb as a bag of hammers. That being said they only one would even consider moving Sam for Curry who they have an even lower opnion of.

Essentially Sam's D sucks in the post. He gets some blocks on help but gets used by whoever he covers
Sam has ZERO offensive skills and ZERO improvement in that area.
Before Sam signed the contract he had a stretch at the end of the year where he averaged 12/12/4 and that player hasnt been seen since.

That being said I think I would do Sam for Mo T and the picks. We just have too many guys and Sam is a hard working player, he's young and I think his value around the league is reasonable enough where he could be a good piece to a trade moving forward.

i don't think the admin would appreciate your tone of voice.

btw, if you can make the trade of Mo T & picks for Dalembert, i do that in a heartbeat... i also make the Francis for KMart trade, & then sign Jared Jefferies to the MLE... adding 3 tough defenders to a defensively-challenged roster makes sense to me... yeah, the money is astronomical, but what else is new? we need role players that will fit in LB's system... all 3 of those guys can help this team imho... then i wouldn't mind as much keeping Marbury around since he'd have some defensive minded players playing behind him that can cover when his man inevitably blows by him off the dribble.

Why would Brown want to see Iverson's face. If the Knicks brought in Iverson, I would give Brown the biggest pass to just say fu I quit because everyone knows that he had his fill with Iverson while in Philly, was happy to get away from him. Second, why would that team work in NY if he didn't work in Philly?

good post but I don't think it's as sure a thing as a frontline of Kenyon Martin & Curry. We have to many guys who can give us 13-20mins of inconsistent play. We need someone who can give us 32mins of consistent play
