Both much better ball handlers, pretty good free throw shooters and can score a few points (Gooden 15 per, Snow 9 per, both with limited minutes). Gooden is 25, Snow is 34. The question is, when does they're contracts end? I wouldn't jump at that trade right away. We have time to look around, but not too bad of a deal. I'm sure there wouldn't be any personality conflicts either. Probably Brown type people also.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Not bad conceptually, but drew and Frye are redundant at best, and Frye may be the better of the two. Or would you put Frye at C and play them together? Still redundant.

Three more years and he's 34? don't know about that one. Actually it would be two, with a trade for an expiring contract in two, but still. Man' dj, that was fast! You must have been waiting for me in the bushes I just passed. I thought' I heard something.
I'll never trust this' team again.

i can't think of too many realistic scenarios in moving steph.

clips, memphis...all pipe dreams.

this is a realistic one...as is any variation of the minny ones...as is kmart.

will a winning team take a major risk on a lockerroom question mark like steph? i can't see too many that will.

nah man.....Frye is Drew Gooden with a wicked jumpshot. Eric Snow just has too many years on his contract.

Franchise is most likely going to Cleveland. They were one of the teams that were really interested in him along with the Lakers. Cleveland is also hot for Frye.

Isn't Gooden more of an SF/PF and Frye a PF/C (guarding only backup Cs)? Gooden played a lot of SF in Orlando.

No. Gooden is a poor version of K-mart.

Gooden came close to becoming a Knick last yrs feb trade deadline... It was for kurt thomas but cleveland pulled off the last minute..

That's where Ass iah felt he had to make a trade anyway so he unloaded baker/norris for Mo taylor and Nazr for rose and 29th pick.. FOOL!!

I don't know man, I think Gooden is too slow for SF, and he's got a decent midrange jumper but I don't think he has the range for SF.

And Frye is bigger, but I see them both solidly as PFs. Meaning that's how I would use them.

I like Kurt, but with the youth for age equation I think KT for Gooden would have been a fair deal for us. But I think Gooden's ceiling is well within Frye's reach.
another marbury deal...
