Although I'm a Villanova guy and this really stings, this guy would be great to develop for a couple of years and then turn the team over to, hes scrappy, defends well has a lot of heart and can beat anyone off the dribble...nice possible corner.

This could be just what were looking for; if we can maybe move Marbury and Lee or the 21st pick for Eddie Jones and can move a combination of Francis/Malik or James to Denver for KMart....

Curry/Butler/James
K-Mart/Frye
Rose/Q2
Eddie/q1
Jamal/Nate/Lowery

That team is a lot more balanced and its all far fetched but we still would have two max contract to trade or expire and Mo Taylors contract to expire, that would be a step in the right direction.....and give us a chance to possible make some smart moves

Why does everyone want Eddie Jones? The guy was dealt by Riley because he's done. Eddie is done for. Eddie has Jalen level ball left in him.

I think he comes off the books after this year. So your sending Marbury off for an expiring deal

I'm not really ok with this.
At the 2, I think Q1 must have better ball in him than he's shown this year, unless his back is trashed. Also, Jamal and Nate can also rotate in there.

Problem I have is with the 3. Unless Q2 is ready to start, we're in big trouble. It's no secret I think Malik should not be seeing any floor time, let alone starting.

Also, I not so hot on KMart. I'd rather have Lee start at the 4, and give us 80(-90?)% of what
KMart used to be, rather than the 40% that KMart can give today, plus a bad attitude.

Not thrilled with Jamal as starting point, and Eddie still has lots to prove.
Back to the drawing board.

I think since the kid had a parcially torn acl he is worried he might risk his chance at making some money......good luck to him. someone is gonna give him a shot.

I agree with this. he's not getting an agent.

I can see NJ taking him if he is there at 22 and grooming him.

Anthony (NYC): Who is more of a "Larry Brown PG", Marcus Williams, Rajon Rando or Kyle Lowry?

Chad Ford: (12:30 PM ET ) None of the above. Larry Brown hates point guards. Just kidding. I would say Lowry would be his guy. Great defender, unselfish, doesn't make a lot of mistakes. But honestly, all three would be an upgrade from what the Knicks have at the moment. They need someone who will come in and distribute not jack up 20 shots.

I would like to see a Lowry/James White Draft that is a tremendous defensive upgrade, and if we can start moving guys and work with guys when some of these contracts expire in a few years we might be ready to go

Lowry/Nate
White
Lee
Frye
Curry

Would be a seriously athletic team, obviously we would need to make some other moves though

Lowry or Rondo are both top notch defenders. I think Rondo runs a team better.
