Yes, I know alot of you hate the idea of taking the risk on damaged goods... let's not debate the issue again on this thread... i just want to see who's in favor of trading Mo T, Malik or Steve Francis for KMart next year... you all know where i stand on this issue... anyone else with me?

I hate K-mart and Kidd, BUT if and A big if you can get kmart half way healthy you have to trade small for big.

at the trade deadline I was a proponent but after the Francis acquisition not working...nah, pass.

if history has taught us anything

moves like this just do not work out for NY. Ewing's ghost is just waiting with knife and fork to carve another 4 years of mediocrity into the franchise.

I would have to see the deal I suppose. KMart isnt a Francis/Rose primadonna but he's got his own baggage, between the ears and otherwise.

for the record, I like K Mart, but I like him as a player pre surgery. But he WONT be and ISN'T the same player now. That much is clear.

KMart isnt a Francis/Rose primadonna

What could be more primadonnaish than showing your nipple after each slam dunk? He's worse than Nate in that aspect.

unless we're getting KG, Jermaine or boozer. give me Kmart. Rather have him over guys like odom/harrington. We need a bruiser, who plays great D,rebounds & blocks next to pansies like curry/frye not more young, athletic, offensively talented stat hoggers.

No thanks. This is another Rolando Blackman, Kiki Vandewhe, Glen Rice trade. Only difference is that KMart will be even more disruptive. I pass.

I feel the same way. Besides that K-Mart is not liek C-webb where Webber still has a nice back to the basket game and still has incredible size and length to still get the job done. Martin has a small fwds body. Martin is strong but his game is all about how quick and how high he can get over on his defender. We gotta pass....but if Martin is healthy then he is a very good player to have on your team.

When was he ever disruptive in NJ? The guy justs needs to get out of Denver. Ever since he signed that huge contract he's been under pressure to perform like a top PF which he isn't but boy the guy can defend, rebound, block shots and be the heart and soul of your team and lead by example. Curry/Frye could really use benefit becuase right now they are the exact opposite of what Martin is.

how do you equate celebrating dunks as a primadonna move? primadonna means you think you're above your teammates & can live by different standards... KMart's always been a passionate player, & that will never change... that doesn't make the guy a primadonna.
