Webber shot
Houston shot
McDyess (took 2 years) but solid as a backup type. NOT the explosive guy he once was
Kidd still great but a bit slower (hey, it could just be age)
Amare so far no good. Obviously jury is out
I'm OK with taking risks, but not on a PF thats a starter, has attitude issues and 5 years on his contract. I thought we already had the PF (or 2 if you count Lee) of the future.
While KMart CLEARLY has the far greater upside I think signing a role player like Reggie Evans better suits our team needs and chemistry.
20 & 10 is shot to you? wow... whatever. i guess we have to agree to disagree on this one.
Channing Frye has many holes in his game... i'm not convinced he'll ever be the savage defensive minded player i'm looking for... of course, i love the kid's work ethic & his character is never going to be an issue, but i'm still not fully convinced that he'll be the answer at the PF spot for the foreseeable future just yet... i'd rather have the insurance of having a guy like KMart on the team playing alongside him... & David Lee is projected as a SF in LB's eyes... he's said so himself... i see Lee as filling Malik Rose's role in the future, but playing moreso at the 3 than at the 4.
as for Reggie Evans, i'd love to have him, but if we made this trade for KMart, we can address our other big need for a defensive SF (Jared Jefferies) via the MLE also.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
