Salary-cap concerns aren't the only reasons why the Nuggets won't try to land Orlando guard Steve Francis via trade. Another reason is that Francis and Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony, who are both from the Washington-Baltimore area, haven't seen eye to eye for years.

Word is Francis has held a grudge against Anthony since he turned down Francis' DC-based agent Jeff Fried to be represented by BDA Sports in the Bay Area. Before Anthony's decision, the two were friends.

Anthony also still hasn't forgotten a very hard foul that Francis gave him in Denver when Francis was playing for Houston.
