Yes. His body is breaking down, foot injuries, his numbers are way down, he just keeps getting it done. His presence means so much for them. But they have surrounded him with All-Star quality players. Its really not fair how much luck they've had.

30 in the NBA is really old... I wonder if they are going to trade Timmy D. In a few years, this will be Tony P's team... They need a young All-Star big man. I wonder how they plan on getting one? Maybe next year they'll tank and get Oden?

30 in the NBA is really old... I
Its not really old, its when players have peaked, not physically but in terms of their game. I think 32-33 is the end of the road for many players. Depends on the position though, bigs are less mobile to begin with, so they can usually play much longer.

trade Timmy?

Are you nuts?

Did they trade David?
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Exactly. This is the result of years worth of using draft picks wisely, making good financial decisions, great coaching, and making good trades. Simply put, this organization knows what it is doing.

They didn't luck into Parker. The guy was not even on the radar. They did their homework.

Duncan was luck. Parker and Ginobli and Nazr and Finley and Brent Barry and Bowen and every other great, low cost decision they've made over the last 7 or 8 yrs has been all smarts.

It's worth noting the Popovich hated Tony Parker at first, but never killed him in the media and worked with him to develop him into one of the best PGs in the league.
