Well what do you guys think about this:
Forward Malik Rose doesnt completely blame Stephon Marbury for wanting to play a different way after the losses began to pile up.

"Steph did some things differently early on in the season," Rose said. "I guess things weren't really working out. We were losing. I can make an argument for Steph to try things differently. To go to Starbury?; I don't know. But Steph wants to win. I firmly believe that. He's beating his head against the wall, trying to do it one way. If its not the right way or he just can't do it that way, it was probably kind of smart on his part to try another avenue."
What I mean is that he has credibility so if he says something, you have to take it into consideration.

read my post again at the bottom thats why I had to edit it, because I knew it gave the wrong impression. I was just saying that he is respected so that you have to take him seriously when he is saying things right?

well..we all saw how frustrated malik was this year....but everyone on this team is to blame for the debacle we fans witnessed...no one is well respected to me although malik was one of those guyswho played hard each night...nut the season was disaster therfore negating any positives any of our players did

Rose can say whatever the hell he wants as long as he plays hard everytime he walks on the court. That's all I care about. The talk is just that, talk. The papers love it because they have fans that read into all of it like teenage gossip hounds. They feed off that, cause more controversy and everyone buys it.

I don't care what type of people they are. As long as they aren't committing crimes or making my life difficult all I care about is that they do what they can to get the most out of their ability and try to win games. If he thinks the entire season is LB's fault. I don't care. Listen to him and play

Brown has the track record so everyone respects him more than their own common sense.

Besides I don't remember there ever being a Larry brown winning any track meets, lol.

Anyway, I see what you are trying to start up killah. It aint worth it bro. If common sense won't sway them the words of the noble malik will do nothing.

Isn't it just possible that Malik is just trying to be diplomatic? He knows he may have to play with Marbury again. Some reporter asks him a question and invites him to slam Marbury and he declines, so maybe he is a class act.

I think all that Rose is saying is that He saw Steph TRYING to do it LB's way. Now if the team was playing well and winning there would be no problems, but the team was horrible. Nothing was going to result from what LB was having them do, cuz it wasn't working for this roster. Anyone could see that. So Rose in his position could see WHY Steph would want to try something else. Especially since LB was so reluctant to even consider any other options. I implore you guys to ggo back and look at the stats for each game at the start of the year and see who was playing well in the starting lineup with Steph. You'll see some of the ugliest statlines you've ever seen. This is why Steph couldn't take it anymore. Then to make it worse LB changed the lineups to even worse combinations, with less offense and so who was Steph supposed to pass to?

It just gets back to LB not being willing to adjust to his roster or even listen to anything else. I can see how he feels, since he's the one with the big glorious rep and HOF credentials. But LB started to believe his own press clippings. He started to feel that he was the reason why his teams won or lost and that he was some BB God and how dare any of these minions speak to him about trying something else. LB was making jokes about how stupid the team was with Mike and Chris and that just aint right. That shows an aloofness that and he clearly has lost touch with reality. Winning a Title may have been the worst thing to happen to Brown. His ego was already huge, but NOW... He didn't even want to coach these guys. He felt they were so beneath him.

Well guys like Curry, Mo, Q and James were injured, so I guess you're referring to guys like AD? One of the only guys who could play defense? A guy who everyone blamed for our loses because of his horrible 82games +/- stats?

He was also a guy who was starting during our 6 game win streak.

Listen, there was no single right lineup. And Marbury and his fans have got to stop looking for his singularly right teammates and coach. how about he makes his team and teammates better, whoever they are? And do it soon, Steph, before your knees cave in.

He was trying every match-up, every possible combination.”

I know, I just always like to fight the good fight. You know defend logic against emotions and 'escapegoating'. LOL!! Steph needs to let me give him some PR coaching.
