Do the knicks have enough to get him? Does king have the balls to let ivo go?

Steve Francis jumps out at me. Marbs style of play fits the sixers too.drive and dish? Iggy stepping up? Korver waking up?

Would Larry and ivo try one last time to win the big one together? Could brown and isiah get the right players around ivo?

I think this is fun to think about. Ivo is getting up there in age and is still hungry for a championship. Craw might be the perfect guy to start next to ivo.

Why not? Philly didn't make the playoffs and that team though they play hard is missing something. They could just be evolving with the emergance of iggy. I don't think they need ivo to take 30 shots to win anymore. Marbs might be a seemless move to make for Philly.

Again I'm not knocking ivo. I'm just thinking the team has changed too much and ivo may not fit anymore.

What do you guys think?

to get AI, just as an estimate you'll have to give up Frye, Lee, Nate & the 2 1st rounders along w/Francis or Marbury (more likely Francis since his contract is slightly less), AND take CWebb off their hands by trading them Jalen Rose's expiring contract... AI's an awesome player, but i'd rather rebuild this from the ground up.

ugh. Iverson is too old. let's really build around some youth, huh?

also, Iverson will cost us Nate and Frye, I'm sure. too too much. though, as I said in an earlier thread, I think Larry will make a HUGE push for Iverson and Iverson might make a push to be with Brown again as well. Philly will prob trade him west though.

If Philly gets frye, lee and Nate does that fit the team they currently have? Nope.

With webber and iggy and korver and even salmons and dalembert they need more involvement. Iverson can get loose for 35 everynight and they kinda look stagnant. The team around ivo has gotten a lot better. Philly kinda needs a guy that is looking to breakdown defenses and pick and pop. Iggy is gonna be special soon and webber is more effective if he can be more involved passing the rock. I wish the knicks had the players iverson has. Iverson is awesome but his style of play doesn't fit Philly anymore.

I don't think Philly will demand frye. Besides if they do most of the people here seem to want a rugged rebounder to play next to curry.

just how would Frye, Nate & Lee not make good complements to Iggy, Dalembert, Salmons & Korver? that would be a nice young core of talent to build up with... you're kidding yourself if you don't think Philly wouldn't demand Frye, along w/some more of the Knicks' young players, in any deal for AI... Sorry, Francis or Marbury & 2 late first rounders ain't cuttin it, not even close.

I don't want Iverson on my team. He's a warrior, he's a beast, but I don't like the way he plays the game, I don't like how the offense is centered around him, and I don't see him bringing us a chip because he is not in his prime anymore. Gettinbg him would be a step backward imo, we would give up a lot and would still have wholes to fill. It doesn't make sense to me.
