NOLA.com - The Hornets almost completed a trade that would have sent J.R. Smith to the Spurs. This summer, Smith expects the Hornets to actually execute one.

"I don't think I'll have to ask for a trade; it's going to be automatic," Smith said. "I would like to go anywhere; it doesn't matter if it's a losing team. I just want to be out there to help on the court."

^Just because we have a log-jam at the 2 doesn't mean they are any good.
Q-rich is garbage.......Craw is 6'5 and 49 lbs soaking wet..He's a career 6th man.......Francis needs to be dealt....Rose is in the last yr of his contract....

JR is a legit 2 guard, 6'6 220. He's young, athletic and will have the opportunity to grow along side the rest of our young players.

Get him.

forgot marbury who really is a 2 and also little nate. As for JR, no don't get him!!! right now we in need of a veteran shooting guard that can play Defense. Someone like Eddie Jones.. Someone that can fit into Larry's system.

You got to make the attempt to get him. Smith would nice here. At some point some of these will start to come off. Who cares what players Brown wants, hell he wanted to trade Billups away, AI away. The more I think about it, just ignore Brown period. Let this coach who is there and if he doesn't like it just let him walk away. To not go after Smith because of Brown is nuts.

if the no. 15 isn't part of any deal with NOK then forget it.

Nate and a second for JR.....Mo Taylor and a 1st for PJ Brown and JR.....Taylor, Nate and the 20 for PJ, JR, and the 17...
