It's about time... I would not have been able to bare watching another pathetic season in an Orlando uniform. I hope that he finds happiness after playing basketball

I would alway's love the guy.He alway's gave his 100%.In my mind he is the best Knick ever.Screw Walt Frazier with his big stupid words,,,,,

I hope you were kidding. I'd say he's third on the best of NYK, behind Frazier/Reed who are locked at 1/2.

born and rasied in brooklyn, Ewing is my alltime favorite player, everybody says "its about time" like its passing a kidney stone. If your a knick fan this should be a very sad day, he was one of the greats.

I'll miss watching him play no matter how much slower he was getting. I always loved the heart and game he displayed. I would have loved to see him play with the Knicks sparingly for another season. I wish him well, the greatest Knick of all time.
