"Bill Laimber should have been & will be our head coach.."
"Once Brown decides to fire himself, look for Laimbeer to come in and assume the head-coaching job...I don't want Herb as our head coach."
"Bring Dekembe back to N.Y. to retire...we can use his shot blocking abilities to help teach our young soft ass front court"
"I want Curry out of town...I know that many on this board think that this dude will be a studd, but you are all wrong. Curry is a softy and always will be a softy. Here is another thing to worry about, his weight. this dude will always have weight problems. We went through something similar with Sweetney and I expect Curry to be the same way. Trade Curry out of town"
"What is going with NewYorkers as of late? you guys have loved all of the softies....Curry, Crawford are both softies.....cream poupou..."
"It hurts me dearly watching how unhealthy Brown looks on the bench last night. This old gizzard needs to go on and give it up. I love him as a coach, but I am not willing to see what will become of him if he stays in N.Y. The media will drive him crazy."
"you actually think that it will be easy to trade the players we have? think again. It will be much easier to let go of Brown....Besides, how many more years you think that Brown will be around?????"
"I agree. However, it will be extremely hard to get rid of Marb right now. First fire Brown or buy him out; second: get rid of Jerome James and Herb Williams; 3rd: hire both Patrick Ewing and Laimbeer as assistant coaches; last but not least: Zeke needs to assume the headcoaching position with Laimbeer or Patrick as his top assistant."
"I have had the pleasure to watch JJ (jared jeffries) grow up both on and off the court. that boy would be a very good asset to have in N.Y. You are talking about a disciplined kid? that is JJ. With all the scorers we already have, who cares about more offense at the 3? not me. I want a savvy defender and a guy who is versatile enough to do the little things. Right now, the only guy we have that comes near JJ is Malik, but Malik at times think that he is a scorer and I hate that. When Jordan drafted JJ, I applauded that pick, because that kid knows how to play the game. Too bad instead of investing in Jefferies, the Wiz decided to invest in Kwame (Curry).
As for folks who claim that JJ can't shoot the ball, I have got news for you...that boy has mad range....he is not called upon to score, so he doesn't. Arenas, Curron and Jamison are the scorers on that team, so JJ assumed the supportive role. I am telling you folks, JJ is a must have."
"Frankly, I don't want neither. Brown if he stays will find a way to become the ennemy of either the owner, the GM or a couple of players. That is the way Brown does business. Marb if he stays will preclude any of our youngins to mature as true leaders. I have a lot of problems with his leadership style. As far as I am concerned, Marb should have gotten all of the players together over the summer, especially knowing the fact that Brown was going to coach this squad to begin developing that much needed chemistry. Kidd did it with the Nets and you can tell, because they appear to play like a machine. Marb is constantly pointing fingers at everyone else instead of criticizing his game or his progression.
Who would I rather have? Lee, Frye, Butler, Woods....I don't like Nate, because he is not a true PG at 5'4"......I want anyone who is not eating more than 5 millions from our cap space."
"Bernard...I can't stand guys who are vindictive and players who don't hard every night. Brown came to N.Y. with a purpose, and that purpose was and is to get rid of Marburry. He never showed any respect for Marb's game. when you want a player to respect and accept your method of teaching, you don't go to the media and shows love for other players while criticizing him. Brown praising Brevin Knight, Kidd, Nash, Kobe and others really destroyed Marb. The dude already had a low selfestime, going on T.V. constantly talking about Marb needed to help make his team-mates better while changing the lineup every night was absurd. Marb when on the court shows that he is very confortable with: Lee, Butler, Woods, Crawf, and Frye...Even Mo T. showed a lot of progress with Marb pick & roll. why didn't Brown used those guys instead of Q, Curry, and Malik?
Curry came into camp as an out of shape player, he should have never been in the starting lineup early on. I know that you guys are going to kill me for saying this, but I don't care. Our starting lineup should have been from the start: Marb, Crawf, Reezy, Lee, and Frye. We should have slowly slowly ease Curry in there. that would have saved our team from all of the turn overs."
"You want to buy Marb out? Brown needs to offer to coach for free for the next 3 years...."
"Larry lost his basket ball senses when he signed the 50 million dollar contract. He sold his knowledge to the devil. Some said that money can make you do some stupid things, that is Larry for you right there. You know who else had a similar situation, Boston's old coach that was hired by Philly recently...O'Brien...."
"the contract that Larry got and the fact that the media gave him so much power really hurt Brown's performance as a coach..."
(on jamal crawford): "You guys are insane....here is a guy who played well in 20 games out of 82 and you all are ready to proclaim him to be something that he is not. Whatever happened to earning it? Can this dude please play a full 82 games with the type of production that he had the last 4 games of this season before crowning him?"
"

Here is Crawford for you all....check out the games that he played without Brown around and compare them to when Brown is on the bench....he took how many 3 pointers with and without Brown on the bench?????"
