not him persay but we need a veteran player that is a role model and can still somewhat play.

the guy that it should've been was h20...and then penny but they can't go anymore.

pistons won 30 games before carlisle. rick comes in and the only acquisition they made was cliff robinson. a forward that could still play, nothing flashy, consumate professional, that has been in the playoffs every single year of his career. a stabalizing force and respected man in the locker room.

we need a guy like that and i think it's just as important finding somebody like this, than a younger vet.

grant hill is one guy but i don't think he's available. stackhouse? derek fisher?

i don't know if there are many guys in the league like this but you get the idea.

It's why I'm kinda hoping Houston can maybe return, even if he just plays like 10 minutes or less.

Theo Ratliff would be a decent addition since he fills the role we desperately are in need of, he's familiar w/LB's system, & he's a respected veteran.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

We need a guy who not only plays hard, not only is a winner but someone who the organization rallies behind and makes the central figure of the franchise. Take the reins away from Marbury. Take the pressure off of Curry. Bring in someone who our young guys will want to be like. There are plenty of these guys in this league, just so happens none of them are here. And when they get here management will make them obsolete by promoting Curry as a savior and Marbury as our leader.

We'd be better off with not one, but at least a couple of players like you described- one in the frontcourt, the other in the backcourt.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
