Plus they have 12th & 21st pick. They get better depth. Not bad. I think this is possible because they get a lot for AI & Dalembert, who lost the starting job to Hunter.

2) Malik, Jalen for Miles, Ratliff

Portland would consider this. Allen wants to sell the team, so they want to cut payroll and move bad characters. They can move a malcontent in Miles and $$$ future salary in both Miles & Ratliff. They get back Jalen's expiring contract plus a good character and leader in Malik who only has 2 more yrs.

3) Marbury + Nate + SA pick for Hudson, Jaric, Hassell + MIN 1st rd pick (7th)

I know we are overselling and it sucks. But it's addition by substraction. We rid ourselves of Marbury and get a high pick. Minny will likely lose Banks to FA, so they probably would welcome Marbury & Nate who can fill the seats playing alongside KG. Marbury/McCants/Davis/KG/Blount with Nate, Wright, Griffin, Madsen coming off the bench.

4) Waive Louis Williams

5) Resign Butler & Woods with the MLE

6) Draft Marcus Williams with MINNY pick

The addition of AI, Hassell, Miles, Dalembert, Ratliff makes this team much better defensively.
We got mediocre long term players in Hudson, Jaric, JJ, but that's better than having Marbury, Francis, Jalen on a same team coached by Brown. I hate to lose Frye & Nate, but I'd be happy seeing AI, Dalembert & Marcus Williams in NYK uniform. I think Miles could also become a top flight player under Brown. With Crawford's improvement, and the budding of Woods & Butler, next season brings hope. Having AI who loves Brown and vice versa is a great start. The question I have is if Curry & JJ reports to training camp in good shape. This lineup is simply a work in progress though. Improving defense and getting a talented pass-first PG is a good start. Thoughts?

trade #1 won't happen... Philly won't be interested in the least in taking on Q's contract when they already have a younger & more talented player making alot less in Iggy... also, if you want to get AI from Philly, you're going to have to give up the farm to get him.

trade #2 is pretty realistic, but i wouldn't do it from a Knicks' perspective... we have enough clueless, spoiled, overhyped primadonna's on this team already... don't need to add another one in Miles... if u want Ratliff, u can make a deal of Jalen for him & Juan Dixon straight up.

trade #3 would be great if you could pull it off. But it all depends on how interested MIN is in adding Mebury to their team next year... that'll all ride on what KG pushes them to do during the offseason, but i don't think it's unreasonable by any means.
