while interviewing assistant knicks coach mark aguire on live from the play by play, bt asked him if everyone was gonna come back next season, does he like the idea of steph and stevie in the back court. aguire said with what jc has show this year, that he has grown into a leader both verbal and action-wise. he goes on to say that there's no way he could start those two in the back court together seeing what jamal has shown him this year, jc is a starter in his mind. is this a guy with some legit insight? or does no one have an idea what lb and it are thinking at this point? it has always been my humble opinion, that even with everything that has gone on this year, that lb will shock us all and bring back steph next year, start him along with jc, and find out the answer to one of this team's many problems was here all along. what do you think?

I would be surprised if anyone in the front office or on the coaching staff wanted Marbury back. I think Marbury will be the last person to realize this.

after his most recent comments, marbury CANNOT come back next season if brown is still coaching, and as for these comments, Im glad the coaching staff feels as good about jamal as they do, becuase now theres less of a chance of steve frankenstein coming back.

You hurt my head, lol.

I think its obvious Crawford has grown a lot this year. He's learned poise. Anybody can see that. You don't have to be at practice to see that craw is a whole different player this last month or so down the stretch.

I think mark is definately hinting at the fact that marbs or Francis has to go. Mark always tells it like it is but also is very careful not to be Larry brown, lol.

After a season like this, the off-season is gonna be one for the books.

"did you guys hear that?"

i've heard ALOT of things from this organization, especially over the last two years...and it's constantly changing. what's said today could be completely different from what's said tomorrow. there are too many wildcards, questions, and doubts for any of us to believe what's said or heard. up until this past summer, all we heard was how great sweetney is and how much a part of the future he is. aguirre and isiah raved about him all day and night...but he was traded. if isiah is fired or resigns, does mark aguirre remain? so what he says may be moot. if lb's health takes a turn for the worse, will marbury be traded? who's to say? i don't trust anything this organization says or promises, and that includes lb. so i'd rather just sit back and watch things happen. i mean, if steph is still a knick next year, would you be THAT surprised? i wouldn't.

agree

Brown speaks for Jesus.

Marbs is gone, big time.....I just hope the Knicks slash his salary rather than bringing in more people to juggle around.

I don't think it's a big deal at all...It really comes down to what Dolan wants really...Is he going to give Larry control or not...If he gives Larry control then it means not having any big names here and having guys that will listen to Brown...That might mean a few lean years at the Garden boxoffice....Dolan might be thinking at any moment Brown will pull the trap door on him, so why committ to a guy you are not sure will be here anyway...This last episode of Brown being taken to the hospital during a game has to make them think he might not be here too long even by his choosing...But I think there will be a medium, give Larry some of what he wants but have a few names that feeds the turnstiles...Aguirre is not part of the loop of guys in the know...That was just his opinion...Well, we are certainly looking forward to an interesting off season....

Same old story with Steph. We all know from a basketball standpoint that we would rather have him back than someone like Franchise, but, those latest comments pretty much seal it if there was any doubt about getting rid of Marbury earlier. I don't see how you can justify bringing him back if Larry is our coach next season. Even if he's not our coach, would anyone want Steph back after those comments? Maybe the better question is would anyone want to trade for Steph after those comments? Hopefully McHale will be desperate enough.

jamal will have an easier time emerging as leader with francis here rather than marbury, even though both suck and should be put on the first train to Auchwitz...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

It's hard to say weather steph's comment hold any weight, A I and Larrys relationship was as brutal as any, and they seemed to have worked it out eventually. So why would this be any different.
