The Gospel According to Barbara Barker

"It's clear that Brown is high on Jamal Crawford, Quentin Richardson, Channing Frye and Malik Rose. David Lee, Jackie Butler and Eddy Curry also are likely to be in the mix.

...Jalen Rose, Stephon Marbury, Steve Francis, Nate Robinson, Mo Taylor, Jerome James and Qyntel Woods are all players that Brown wouldn't mind seeing end up elsewhere."

Barbara, you ignorant slu... oh never mind...

I don't think Larry hates Qyntel or Nate. As a matter of fact, the conflict between Nate and Larry is just for entertainment purposes. I get the sense Nate may be crazy but Nate listens and Larry respects Nate's fire.

I think Larry is on the fence with David Lee

dunno... I really dont. When I think about who goes and stays I think in terms of logic and sense where neither applies. I really have no idea.

ditto. I'm completely stumped today. Woods and Lee have to stay! I would give up marbury to keep Woods and Lee. I'd part with Nate as well.

My team...and this is from everyone's posts:
Crawford, Franchise, free agent lb point guard (FA_LB_PG)
Qwoods, QRich, JRose (i'd prefer rose over FA_LB_PG)
Curry, Frye, Lee, Butler

Gone: Malik, MoT, JJ, Nate, and reluctantly Marbs, however, if marbs could pull a billups, which I'm praying to GD he does, then he stays and we make a run at it. marbs hasn't said much in the paper recently, but not playing through pain is a big indicator he wants out. JRose's minutes tonight will go a long way clearing it up for me.

Lee has had some monster rebounding games the last few weeks, and he is a smart player. If he goes, that's like the mets losing David Wright IMHO.

steph, jamal, nate, quentin, francis, jalen, qyntel, malik, lee, frye, eddy, mo, jackie, jerome

how many guys on that list would REALLY make you upset if they were traded? seriously, how many? maybe three? four? five tops? to me, it's just one...and that's frye. moving him would raise my eyebrow. but other than him, everyone else can get traded and i wouldn't blink an eye.

My guess is that if Marbury and or Francis are dealt, LEE might have to packaged with them, depending on which team the Knicks are dealing with.

There aren't that many teams willing take those huge contracts back without the Knicks sweetening the pot. Teams would prefer Frye, but Lee might be enough.

No media hating gets on my nerves anymore. They make more sense than any of us the last two years.

I don't waste any more time on projecting on this team. They are what they are, and will do what they do.

I just hate the waste of money. Excessive and wasteful.

Well the scenario's laid out for as many years as it's allowed to go on for.

Isiah will continue to grab crappy overpriced duds and mid to late 1st round picks.

Larry will continue to weed out the trash that Isiah brings in and recycle his lines about "coaching effort" and "auditioning for who's going to stay."

The franchise will continiue to win in the 20's and 30's.

Anyone have a solid argument as to why we shouldn't anticipate this ad nauseum?

I'm pretty sure Miami and Atlanta would take Marbury and/or Franchise. And I agree, Lee may be on his way out as well.

Marv,

I can't imagine this lasting.

Lets put it this way, when we thought it was going well, it was not.

I have to think it will improve, but I am not going to project how.

As Riles said: "the cupboard be full"!

"the Ship be sinking"

"Titanic will float"
