April 10, 2006 -- Knicks 101 Celtics 86 BOSTON - In officially avoiding becoming the worst team in Knick history, Larry Brown's young players also managed to make Celtics star Paul Pierce eat lots of crow.
That's a lot to accomplish for Team Titanic in one afternoon in Beantown.
Twelve days after the Celtics slaughtered the Knicks at the Garden and Pierce called them "not very good," claiming they were tanking, the Knicks took offense and responded with a vengeance. They used a crushing 31-10 fourth quarter to whip the Celtics yesterday, 101-86, at Boston Garden for their third straight victory.

Give me a break. They needed Paul Pierce to tell them that they were "not very good?" Dammit they sucked! Why can't they just look in the mirror and play with a little pride?! Shit every knows they "weren't very good." They were completely ridiculed by the commentators (Smith, Barkley and crew) during the All-Star break! Why didn't they make THEM eat crow! It's a little late now!

Take it where it comes. Big-shot Pierce fell apart down the stretch with his stupid-ass behind the back pass that led to a Knicks fast break. The guy had scored 30+ 13 out of 14 games and we held the chump to 19. That's called crow - don't disturb the man while he's eating his dinner.
