i HATE that shot. absolutely hate it. if he didn't take the floater, and took it stronger to the hoop, he would be putting more people into foul trouble. he's making the baskets now, but those floaters don't always go it. the fundamental reason players use a floater is b/c they're afraid of contact and more concerned with making the basket. an example is mark jackson. i think crawford's physique has something to do with it also. if he just did a stop and pull up jumper, he'd be taking a better shot AND more likely to draw a foul from behind.

It looks like he's making the floater with more consistency now. Maybe he's been practicing it a lot. Crawford can't take it stronger to the hoop. He doesn't have the power to do that. He's the skinniest player in the league.

No, that honor goes to Luke Ridnour. I missed the game and am watching the Knicks in 60 right now, but I kinda like the floater too. If you hate it, then I'm sure you absolutely hated it when Stephon used to do it all the time too, and yes, most of them went in as well.

It is all part of his development. Just remember, a year ago, his shot selection was jacking up a 3 no matter what. Now he takes an average number and goes to the line much more. He's turning into an actual basketball player.

Mark Jackson (The point Guard?) afraid of contact? Dj, the guy was a bruiser who used to post up players 5 inches taller than he. The reason he shot the teardrop was because if he went all the way to the hole on those moves, he would have gotten the shi.t blocked out of his shots, he was not exactly a high-flyer.

most guys try their whole career to develop that shot. its pretty much unguardable with his dribble.
