I dont know about many, but I would be happy getting him with our second pick. He's a very solid intangible player at the 4 who can move to the 5. He is under-rated athltetically and still has tremendous room for growth on the ofensive end--he can become a much better player. You cant have a star at every position, and if he worked with pro trainers to get up to 255[very wide shoulders] and add some explosiveness, the kid has tremendous length and has won a lot of games

I like Boone. I think he will be a good pro player. He has all the tools and he is a smart player. I don't see him as a star either, but a solid player for many years for sure.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

I agree. I see him alot like Theo Ratliff, but just not AS good of a shotblocker. Very good defensive player, he'll block shots, play good help defense and pull down rebounds, only downside is that he's got a limited offensive game.

I don't know about Boone as a pro, I don't even think he should be considered a first round pick. His regression since his freshman year has to be extremely alarming to anyone who selects him. His lack of defense at key moments for the Huskies should also send signals. I am not impress with his athlethicism either. Boone would extremely benefit from staying another year to redefine his game.

first off, we got too many guys @ playing the 4 already. Talented youngters such as Frye Lee or Butler can play the position respectively. We don't need another player @ the 4.

Boone is a good player that would be able to adapt to larry's system but i don't think we need him..

Rumor has it that the knicks will be looking to trade both picks and a player in order to move up in the top 10-12 of the draft..

10-12 of the draft..

Two picks in the mid 20s isnt going to get you a pick in the 10-12 range.

suscribing to killa's theory

Crawford may be bait to move up into the teens and take Rondo or Williams. Sac or the Hornets may be interested in bolstering their bench firepower and Craw would do just that.

I would take Boone in a heart beat. He's the kind of defense/rebound/shotblock glue guy you need.

I think Brown will make a play to trade the picks, he's sick of too much youth. But I don't think Crawford will be included, I think Brown genuinely loves him. Craw has been moving the ball the way Brown likes - not necessarily to get direct assists, but creating a lot of ball movement that leads to the open man getting the shot.

another thing about Craw - look at the turnovers over the last two games. lowest they've been all season. don't think Brown hasn't noticed.

thought you had to have a floor game to be considered glue

not sold on Boone as a defensive stalwart either.

he really should stay and better himself.

true. That tells you about his upside too, though. No excuse for his lack of defensive intensity into the season.

you don't know who that player might be.. possibly one of the youngsters other than lee or Frye that will get them to top 10 - 12..

He needs to have a "show and prove" type of season. He has yet to do that. He hasn't shown he can produce anymore than he did the year before.

He thinks if he does well in workouts he'll be ok. Maybe but the dude has yet to really show he can be a pro night in and night out.

I'd love to get a player like him but he needs to show that he can bring it everynight and actually take it up a few notches.

As a Husky who loves everything Husky, I'd have to steer clear of Josh Boone.

Lack of confidence. Hasn't developed anything new to his game. Relies on his height and long arms. Doesn't seem to love the game. Same body he had 3 years ago. Physically soft, gets absolutely manhandled by physical players. Asked not to be on the floor late in games because of his free throw shooting.

He should come back next year and work on some of these things. To me he's just another okay bench player.
