The season is all but over and LB is praising Jamal to raise his trade value.

JC has mainly sucked this year. Hes bi-polar. One game he's reggie miller, the next he's Todd Day (If you don't know who he is, thats my point).

If LB is dumb enough to like this guy after 2 good games, hes an *******. we've played over 70 games, how many has Jamal played well in? 15? 20 maybe?

Well, one thing for sure, we go as Craw goes. We only seem to win when he plays well. I think Brown is praising him because despite being treated far worse as far as minutes and starting is concerned, he has been a pro while a few other guys on the team have been wining all year.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

That is because Craw is tentative when he plays the point and is more offensive minded when he plays the 2....I wish there was a way to see the numbers...but there is a huge difference...He actually play the 2 once they got up court in the last game...he brought the ball up the called the set play and move into the 2 slot....He passed the ball to nate or francis the ran off screens or took set shots off ball movement..

it's a theory...but it's more wishful thinking. not just lb, but the organization loves the dude.

The whole organization "loved" Sweetney too based on everything everyone said to the media.

I think many are too concerned with production. We need to build a team atmosphere first instead of a me atmosphere. Than we can worry about production. Jamal is a team player and we need that. ATmosphere first, wins second.
I just hope that people will like me

Oh man, stop hatin!!!! Did it you watch the post game with Al trautwig?? Crawford said it took him some time but he now understands what this team is trying to assemble and accomplish..

It was hard for him to adjust as a sixth man but lately he's been playing so well that he's now comfortable running the point.. We all remember the chicago days but Craw was very young back then..

He's matured quite alot and only getting better.. Listening to Larry on the pre game radio show, he said out of everyone he's coached in his 30 plus yr, JAmal has improved tremendously more than any player he's coached..

His shot selection has gotten better and when he runs point, he seemed to be under control..

STOP HATIN ON JAMAL..

you see the thing is, crawfords good play which lead to the knicks winning without him, worsens marbury's image, thus marbury lovers dont like crawford.

Ok...we've won 2 games...lets not get ahead of ourselves. WAyyyy back in the day, during the winning streak, Jamal was doing great as the 6th man. Then Marbury got injured. During that time Jamal looked absolutly lost on the court trying to play point for several games. Its great that Jamal is playing well again. And its commendable that he's finally figuring things out and better handling this greater responsibility he has to uphold without marbs. He just needs to learn to be consistant if thats possible. Thats the only thing that really tarnishes his image. Other than that I love that he has the guts to actually take those last second shots and take the team on his back win or lose. He also has a very good attitude to go along with it. Question is can we handle his highs and lows?

LB always has great things to say about players on the other team....maybe its a taste of things to come....just a thought

wrong.

if he wanted to raise the value of players he didnt like, he would have praised marbury and francis every other day.

which he hasnt.

and we all know lb has no love for steph.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Then perhaps its the winning because he's even referred to marbs as phenomenal and a good defender a few times.

I agree with Killa, folks are getting a little too excited about Jamal putting together a few decent games. 2 games and Jamal is getting it, the plan is coming together, etc. I tell ya, hope springs eternal on UK! JC has had better stretches this and last season. We all know he is capable of having great games or stretches of games, but I'd like to see a half-season of simply good games for Jamal, maybe even *gasp* a full season of good consistent play. That's when I'll believe he is getting it.

I'm not willing to wait anymore. I hope he finishes the season strong so we can trade his ass, hopefully for an honest-to-god power player.

Gotta agree with Killa, Mins, and Oohah here. I think Jamal gets a lot of support from fans here because he's a very good speaker. People think he has a great attitude because he says all the right things to the media, even though his six year career has been 90% wussy play where he won't attack the basket or fight hard on D and 10% good stretches like the last two games.

i'm up and down on jamal, but for christ sake if larry really likes him that much we better hold on to him. we ain't going anywhere without larry having players he wants, and the easiest way to start is with the ones we already have.

i wonder what larry really thinks of stevie. i remain of the belief that that was a godawful trade.

for those that don't see the change in jamal's game over the course of the season, they just aren't looking or refuse to look.

nobody is saying the kid is an all star, but his game has transformed and ACCEPTED the change, he listens to the coach, shows appreciation to the gm for bringing him here, everybody on the team loves him, he's humble AND he's well spoken...slowly forming into a leader and is a team player - things that are foreign to lottobury. it's not a coinicidence that those that don't like jamal are very staunch supporters of steph.

the word consistency is used alot...which is fine b/c he really hasn't been his entire career. but we see him sort of settling into a role now and is pretty much running the team the past week. running a VERY young team to boot. you could see the plan that lb had all along. bring him off the bench, groom his as the point, and make him the kiddie core's leader. and it's working.

get used to it people, #11 will be here next year, #3 will not...unless q1 takes HIS number back.

dj is a divider not a uniter.

we noticed every word of praise you just spoke for jamal had NOTHING to do with his abilities as a basketkball player.

i'm glad we're going to have a troop of boy scouts to continue leading us to 20 win seasons.

maybe we'll be so cute anad cuddly that scott layden will be willing to come back to be represented by us.

(ok, you don't even have to bother to say it - i'll go take a midol now).
