For most Knick fans, the basketball season might as well be over. I am looking for reasons to miss Knick games and cant find enough anymore. There are obviously many other things to do but since I am a sports fan, I need a team to root for all year round. I cannot just watch the Knicks have a terrible season and wait till October with nothing else good happening.

Baseball to the rescue. The baseball season opener is perfect. I am so pumped about the Yankees tonite. I hope they dont get rained out because its been a long time since I saw "my team" get a win that is meaningful. How many of you guys are just as happy as the diversion? How many of you think Yankees win it all?

yeah I'm looking forward to watching meaningful games again. I wasn't too into spring training this yearbut today after checking out the boxscores, seeing that the Mets won, man they got a good team! Piazza just hit a HR for the Padres...I'm anxiously waiting for the Yankees game to start at 10! It's going to be a tougher year than usual for the Yankees. They're not expected to run away with it like they are every year but they will be right there. we just need some things to go right like starting today with Randy Johnson

never had season tickets but my greatest moment at yankee stadium EVER was mattingly's homer in the 95 wildcard series vs. seattle. it was the 2nd of a back to back with ruben sierra. seattle had to take it's players off the field.

i wish i was at the clinching game in 2001 tho - when the crowd just chanted for the final few innings after 9/11. that probably was surreal.

Yeah I hear ya on that. When Ronan Tynan would sing God Bless America. The freakin' chills that would go down your spine!

haha I cried in 96 and again in 98 after what happened in 97. I don't think it'll ever be that good again for a Yankee fan. The O'neil, Tino, Bernie, Jeter, Mariano era--can't top that!

Yup! Now Mussina takes the mound for game 2. Not sure if I should be happy or worried about that!

Not sure what clinching game you're talking about but I was at game 5 against the A's in the ALDS after going down 2 games to none. That was my greatest moment at Yankee Stadium. Most emotional game I've ever been to.
