So what do you guys think? We will most likely go in as is and that means we will again be short on talent in 2 key positions. I know it is too early to tell, maybe something magic will happen this year, but as of now do you see this team going to the playoffs? Or are we in it for LeBron?

I think this team will fair better then last years. I could see them hitting .500 and if Thomas is a surprise at the C then we could even see above that level of play. We still are nowhere near the elite which is where this team needs to be.

I think 42 to 45 wins are possible. I think they'll do really well if Williams plays like a starting point, and Ward & Eisley backup.

I think Layden will resolve 1 of the 2 positions before the season starts. Hopefully its the C position. Pg's should be easily accessable before the deadline. Having McDyess should help the flow of the offense because Dyess draws double teams and creates mixmatches. Having a C to cleanup the boards will allow Dyess to roams and take some more outside shots, similar to what CWebb does.

Well what C do you think he can obtain without giving up too much before the season starts? Arent most if not all the good ones taken? I think a legit C would definitely make this team a contending power but I am not sure of Laydens ability to find a decent center who can help us out without dealing one of the big 3. KT is definitely expendable for a big man but someone else will have to sweeten the deal if we are to pick up a decent 5.

Depend what do you mean by Legit. I think NY might get their hands on either Erik Dampier, Kelvin Cato, or Scott Pollard. Cato is my 3rd choice but and of the other 2 should make us a real contender.

And who do you see us giving up to get Damp or Pollard? I would prefer Damp I think over Pollard.
