Chicago Tribune - Ron Artest says the Kings need to change their offense to run it through him. Said Artest: "I'm able to free people up, create those double and triple teams. And even if I take a bad shot, I look at myself (like) a Kobe (Bryant) or a Tim Duncan or a Michael Jordan taking a bad shot. You live with it."

Head case or not, I wouldn't mind him coming to NY.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

There's nothing wrong with this quote. Artest is a terrific player and should get a chance to be the focal point of a team.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I'm with you Hard, I'll take him in a heartbeat. At least he does something the entire Knick team cant' seem to do. Play DEFENSE!

this guy is just like Marbury - a clueless idiot who will never win anything. yeah, sounds like a perfect Knick. ya know, if Artest blows up and ruins the Kings season/post-season, I could see Isiah's eyes lighting up like a kid in a candy store:

"I said I wouldn't trade the kids, well I think Channing has done a lot of growing up this year. He's a man now... so I can trade him."

what an awesome franchise we're running here.

Maybe he's a little arrogant for mentioning himself with those other legends but I have no problem with this quote.

then you must love the Knicks, we have at least 8 guys who think the offense should run through them.

if artest could continue to run his mouth out of the playoffs and out of sactown right to new york would not bother me one bit either

keep it city ! ....bring artest to new york

If they played defense like Artest, sure I'd love them

Artest is better than any of the people on this team. At least he didn't say he was the best foward in the league... kinda like someone we all know

Artest probly IS the best forward in the league..........behind Pierce, Garnett, Duncan, Brand, and so on and so forth...

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Assiah Thomas is a fool.. He had a chance to get him here but wasn't too fond of his attitude going back from the pacers days.. Assiah didn't have the B@!!$ to pull the trigger but he gets francis.. don't get it

If we had to give up one of our young players to get Artest, so be it.. one of the top defenders in today's basketball.. who cares about his attitude, at least he plays his *** off day in day out...

Artest is a great talent, one of the best defenders I've ever seen, with a pea brain. He'll never win jack. How many teams has he personally sabotaged? like three Pacers teams that could have won it all? weeeeee.

Sure he would be an improvement, but if you really want a quality roster of thinking men who have character, then you don't start with Ron.

We have a real long way to go, but when the chips are down this guy just melts down and implodes.

So does half our roster presently.

I know he is better than any knick, but we must keep the eye on the prize and not settle.

No more mental midgets!

The Pacers were pretty good with him, u know Larry really got too much credit....the Nets beat the Pistons in the second round of the playoffs if Kidd was healthy they blew game six, and then they beat a Pacers team with a very hobbled Jermaine O'Neal, and the Next year Miami wins if Wade isn't injured, Larry no championships or finals berths....but at least ron has won a playoff series

But the Pacers were always right there and the guy is a winner and can carry a team, keep opening your mouth artest its the only way to get him here
