West I believe is a fan of Steve' game. Eddie Jones at 2 will not get them to the next tier.

fieldgoal-less in his last 2

Steve was acquired for an ending contract. no harm in off-loading him for 1. maybe a 2nd rounder or conditional first is attainable but that is not a sticking point.

the 06 summer mantra: set the charge, light the fuse, take cover
the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

I wouldn't mind Eddie Jones cause he plays defense and would fit into LArry Brown's system. Look what he's doing under fratello who is another defensive mind genius..

One thing though, we already got too many guys @ the 2 or wing spot..
quentin, crawford, nate, Jalen, marbury and Q woods..

Successful Scenario
Due to New York, Minnesota, and Memphis being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. New York, Minnesota, and Memphis had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Trade ID
Every trade made by fans is allocated a unique Trade ID which you can share with friends and fellow basketball fans to allow them to see your trade scenario. The Trade ID for this scenario is 3027560.

C = BUTLER
PF = KG
SF = J.ROSE
SG = E.JONES
PG = CRAWFORD

BENCH

GRIFFIN / HUDSON / WOODS

LB will use an 8 man rotation !! KG & GRIFFIN will provide the interior D while Butler will eat the glass and Jalen + Woods is our versitale SF rotation while the back court is set with Eddie / Craw & Troy !! As an add bonus, JALEN / MO-T / E.JONES are all in the last year of their contracts !!

THIS WOULD SOLVE THAT PROBLEM !@!
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!

Sounds good, but giving up frye would be a mistake. If possible you would like to trade anybody but him.

Brilliant! I think Marbs will work better with Gasol though. Fratello had Terrell Brandon all those years in Clevland so he knows how to deal with a point guard that can score.

Fratello had quietlt been coach of the year......his team on paper is terrible but they win. Opposite of the Knicks

I don't think West would take Marbury though.. He picked up someone like him in Stoudamire who had gotten hurt during the season..

He should make a full recovery for next season.. they don't need marbury...

Wow...that would be sick.....Memphis (when they were the Vancouver Grizz) drafted him and he refused to report there....Imagine him getting traded there after all this time.....lol

He didn't want to play in Vancouver. Memphis probably wouldn't be as much of an issue for him.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The more I think about it the more I love the idea of sending Francis to Memphis for Eddie Jones. It just makes sense. Memphis needs a point guard and a guy that can get to the rim. They don't have anybody that can do that at the point spot.....Chucky and Bobbi are free agents.....Damon could be back though....but still Francis would make their team better. Dantay Jones is ready to step into Eddie's old spot.

Definately a must do deal.
