this was posted by "blackbishop" at realgm. the date on the post is october 2nd. at the time, alot of people were unhappy with the post b/c it was negative but he said he had the hookup for info. looks like he wasn't that far off by the way the season turned out:
Jerome James showed up sooo out of shape that he couldnt complete the first set of drills.

Mo T supposedly was also out of shape and hurt him self during the physical somehow (dont know how or what the physical entailed).

nate rob looks like the real deal but supposedly he has ADD and a mouth on him, so he may have problems with coaching.

Marbury already during early scrimmages is rolling his eyes at larry browns critique of the way he runs the offense.

Marbury supposedly was trying to take david lee under his wing but the other players are warning him against it.

Sweetney came into camp in decent shape but not the shape he was in at the start of camp last season.

all i heard so far coming out of camp.

well in the papers today larry did say that he could tell the team was doomed back in training camp.

Q-Rich, and Rose was out of shape also. None of those guys have an excuse.....Curry did cuz of his heart.

Still there were plenty of players who were in shape....the guys that weren't should have been benched and fined. Most of the guys that were out of shape are not even worthy of minutes even if they were in shape......whoever was ready to go should have gotten the minutes....it just didn't work that way all season.

Isiah should have tried to get Flip. He got Brown cuz he was the best available but Brown is not the right fit. Marbs is the best player and he already is a terrible leader and he already had beef with Brown. Brown is a jerk but there is no leader in the huddle that gets the guys focused and together so Brown's bull is blocked out.....Detroit did that really well.

It's just been a terrible mix all around. There is no real fix either.....there is gonna have to be alot of movement going on with the Knicks......multiple trades and buyouts. The team is screwed to hell.

Expecting them to be men is unfair. I think the more realistic way to look at them is command them not to be swine. I think that would have been more kind of Larry. Just don't be swine.

No sourse has said he has ADD. I've heard it from fans and fans only. In case you haven't noticed though, which I'm sure you have, Nate has definitely looked more calm lately.

Allanfan: Remember when I was recapping the pre-season game I went to and I told you LB was going to experiment all year trying to teach Jamal to lead the group of youngsters. Than I followed it up by saying that LB was starting guys in their hometown as a point to the players to let them know they hadn't worked hard enough to earn minutes or starting positions. The signs were on the wall early.

LB came out and screamed to the players that he was waiting for someone to earn a starting postion and how did the players respond.

"coach is senile"

And many fans backed them up. Is it any wonder why we stink?

dude, it's 1000% obvious why we stink...but can it be fixed?

Do we have to release everyone with expiring ocntracts in the next 2 years and go with what we got?

It can be fixed but only if we start an organizational standard which is happening as we speak. Defense, rebound, play hard and share the ball. If you can't do that you have to go. No compromise. No catering to career losers. Unfortunately when you lay down the law like that peopel rebel and things get worse before they get better. But I guarantee you if Dolan sticks with this mess and lets the players know that LB is in charge and not them you will magically see guys start listening. Adn magically as fans you will see a turnaround.

Kissing their arses and building systems so guys can improve their stats will get us nothign. This team should be an open court run and gun team. But what coach in his right mind is going to do that if his team turns the ball over and doesn't play D. None.
