forget about the filler pieces but the main components would be channing frye for ron artest, would you do it?

that's a good point. Guys like Artest, Ruban Patterson, and Rodman can certainly put you over the hump IF you have the personalities around them.

I would from a hoops standpoint, but I picked no because we are the Knicks, this is NY and I think that just accelerates the timebomb that is ronron. I do think it will be possible to get some good defensive guys in here. I also think it will take a new GM and a few VERY costly buy outs to get this ship corrected.

I agree.... Ron needs a strong personality to reel him in. And also, why the hell would Sacramento trade him at this point? They got a steal.

I voted Yes, because I can't wait until Frye leaves this team and has real success and "Knick" fans scream we got screwed somehow. Second, I know Artest would blow up in NY, hell I almost saw first hand how he almost lost his college eligibity but yeah Brown versus Artest would be want many here deserve.
