what's Isiah going to do? tell us about a pop corn sale in aisle three?

briggs you have any real info on that, or just a feeling?

personally, I think firing Isiah, you might as well make Brown the GM of the team, which scares the crap out of me. I hope they bring in a Kiki if they fire Zeke. Bring Kiki home. Larry cannot have complete power, he would pull too much stupid crap by himself.

I can see Isiah getting fired over this season. The saddest part about this is that Isiah put himeself on the line for a lot of these players and they've hung him out to dry.

Almost every guy he's brought in has been a risk - a reclamation project. You'd imagine that some of these guys would say to themselves, "You know, I owe it to Isiah to give effort and listen to the coach because Isiah brought me in when no one else believed I was worth it." But no, these guys have all quit on Isiah, they quit on LB and they quit on the fans of New York.

It's equally sad to see members on this forum side with the players. I've said it before, it's like a battered wife refusing to press charges. When will they learn?

Larry Brown should be fired too. He is a ridiculously arrogant, awful coach.

agreed. Mills, Brown, Isiah. Line them up on the firing line. Give whoever comes in complete autonomy - I'd say bring in Kiki and let him pick his coach. Is Mills involved in the Rangers, too?

sigh. can we re-assign him to only the Rangers or something?

I still say Dolan is the root problem, but as long as he can point to the Rangers this team is doomed.

Good point. They quit on themselves but still get paid.

This is the worst team in our history, the worst highest paid team ever. This is historical.

At this point Its not on Larry. These guys have just turned it off and have nothing to play for except the young guys.

Isiah created a really bad team chemistry with this cast of charactors.

I'd let Larry have a crack at it. Why is it so scarey letting him make the changes? Look at whats been done, it is a disastater of epic porportions. Isiah was all talk. Nothing more. The thickest layer of bull****.

What is so surprising is he bought in the very coach that would expose this team for what it is. Larry asked these guys all year long to gut it out and play. They folded.

This is the softest team I have ever seen!

Only in America can a man who is President and COO be trivialized as "only nominally"

Anyone ever checked Mills resume or his awards?

Please point out Mills's contribution to the Rangers' turnaround this season, paying special attention to the seven previous seasons that they missed the playoffs. Does Mills scout the Czech Republic? Did he hire Renney? You're just wrong.

I can't wait for your reply.

I agree, but that is the power of a guaranteed contract, they don't and won't put it all on the line for IT, eventhough they should. The problem is they won't do it for themselves, why in the hell would they give the effort for someone else.... sad, very sad...

I still think that we should give larry and zeke more time to correct things, although that opinion is probably going to get me alot of flack right after a loss as embarrassing as the one we just suffered at the hands of the celtics.

i actually see it as an old stubborn guy that's not going to bend and be willing to call out his players if they aren't performing to task. i have an old school disciplinarian flavor to me so i don't think the overall concept of what lb is doing as bad at all. i may not agree with his methods of dealing in the media but he is exposing the roster...and that's not sabotaging. what he's doing is putting players out there and calling plays. they just don't execute it. why? i have no clue but a choice needs to be made, get rid of the coach or get rid of the players. in this case, the coach is staying so the players will be gone. and good. i'm sick and tired of seeing these multi-semi-billionaires playing like pansies. show some pride.

nalod is right, this is the softest team i've ever witnissed. and this is the WORST team in nba history. forget talent. i'm talking about what is being paid for and what the results are, this is hands down the WORST team in nba history.
