this trade is great for both teams, if the Bobcats dont mind taking on the money (what free agent wants to go to charlotte??) then this is perfect. Knight will come off the bench next year because of Felton and the Bobcats could use a scorer. This would be a upgrade in larry's eyes also.

What do u guys think?

If Charlotte were thinking that way, I'm sure they would have pursued Francis much more aggressively.

no way Charlotte makes that trade... Brevin's 1 of the best veteran bargains in the league for what he produces compared to his salary... they have a nice nucleus of young talent that they want to build around... adding Marbury to that formula does nothing for them except to add a potential lockerroom malcontent to ruin team chemistry.

Marbury belongs on a team like the TWolves who has a true franchise player who's pining for an Allstar calibre running mate.

hes 2nd in steals and assists.

marbury..............isnt.

END OF STORY.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Charlotte will probably laugh and hang up but I would do that deal in a heartbeat.

the playoffs. This team would have the same or worse record with Knight at the point. how many of you guys that want him have seen him play? he's 2nd in steals and assists yeah but he still is not a top 10 or 15 PG (to me anyway)

I have a plan with the 'Cats and see BK all the time. The dude has a nice game.

he is the starting Point.

What has he done? I seen the BobCats win twice agains the knicks this Year. ONly two wins I seen in fact.

I seen him take the team to OT against the Heat a few weeks ago. I seen him keep his team competitive and playing hard despite many injuries to the team, and the reigning ROY!

THe BobCats are a nice young team whom are doning well at teh box office and keeping the salaries real tight. Its called fiscal responsabilities. There were 8 years where the Hornets lead the league in Attendence!

Its a nice town to play in so the question is "who would want to play in Charlotte" is based on what? Have you been to many games in Charlotte? Live there? The State of North Carolina?

I moved from NYC, the greatest city in the world 20 years ago and really never regretted it. I love my NY roots, family and the city, but I got good down here.

My two favorite teams. Knicks and Bobcats. Im a loser.

for me the guy should be Marcus Banks. Take back Jaric as well. Get some guys out there that defend.

Once again Marbury proved last night how utterly useless his stats are when Tony Allen and Delonte West light you up at will

Ray Felton > Steph

keeping with Amare

a guy who'll give 15 and 8 and in the case of Felton upwards around 5 boards, who'll distribute, defend, and be a leader on the court > Stats anyday.

People say Bickerstaff got lucky with Wallace but he knew about him and what he'd bring.

13 roster spots, 29 teams and about 60 available players. Excellent pro scouting...something Isiah has never heard of.

Brev is more polished now, but Felton is bigger and stronger and is progressing very nice.

They are bringing him along just right. He is not C3p, but he will be solid.

The point is a slow position to get in the pros. He plays some shooting guard with BK and is doing well.

Sean May was and is overrated. They love the UNC Tarheel crap down here and love the kid. He is backup in my opinion.

OKA4 really never got it going this year. He bulked him big time over the summer. Briggy got a good handle on the kid.

Bobcats are building it right.

just for argument's sake, i'd take Brevin Knight over Banks anyday... he's alot more polished & he's a much smarter distributor & orchestrator... Banks is like Speedy Claxton in many respects... i'd take Speedy over Banks too btw... the guy i really want is Mike James, but he probably won't sign for just a MLE, so it'll have to be a sign & trade type deal to get him.

James is good but too old for my taste. Claxton is nice but Banks is tough and physical. Probably not as skilled as either of the guys you mentioned but man he plays with a chip on his shoulder. with Frye, Fat JJ, Curry and Lee we have good size up front, but opposing wing players simply disgrace us. Banks changes that instantly. So does Jaric. Francis can just go away also, for who I dont know, but just go away.
PG: Banks/Crawford/Nate
SG: Q/Jaric/

Its not sexy but there is defense and toughness there.

i don't mind that at all... but Banks lack of a consistent jumper concerns me... i want a guy who can come up big in big games... a guy like Mike James can do that for you.

LOL, Bickerstaff also said that Ariza was the steal of the draft but I bet you wouldn't agree with him on that.

Also, I could I forget all I need to know about the wonderful front office of the Bobcats is that Ed Tapscott runs it.

you are delusional. you should try reading comprehension before responding.

"excellent pro scouting" meaning he looked over professional rosters and picked up guys like Wallace and Brezec who were sitting on the ends on of benches whereas the worst GM in the league lusted after the Jamal Crawfords of the world. Bickerstaff wanted a veteran presence on his young team so he picks up Brev - a model of professionalism. Isiah's last 3 vet acquisitions to fortify his young and athletic soup bowl - Mo Taylor, Jalen, and Steve Francis - 3 guys with reputations as coach killers...And as for Affirmative Ed, G Wallace is getting 3 yrs 16 mill, while that idiot Isiah gave guys like Crawford 7 yrs 56 mill.
