Of course I would prefer to have a lottery pick. But since we don't I just wanna bring up that over the yrs at the back end of the draft. There aren't many stars that have been had. But there have been a lot of hard working guys that seem to find the back end of the draft.

starting from 99-2005, Jurmaine Jones, AK47, Kenny Thomas, jeff Foster, Morris Peterson, Speedy Claxton, Marco Jaric(2nd rd), Maglorie, Bobby Simmons(2nd rd), Okur(2nd rd), Arenas(2nd rd), Hassell(2nd rd), Parker, Tinsley, Dalembert, Gerald Wallace, Haywood, Gadzuric(2nd rd), Boozer(2nd rd), Dickau, Kristic, Tyshaun Prince, Q.Woods, Josh Howard, Kendrick Perkins, Travis Outlaw, Boris Diaw, Duhon, Harrison, Delonte West, Jammer Nelson, David Lee, Nate Robinson.

After watching this season go down. It knowing that we won't land the most talented players get drafted before we pick don't hurt that much. Just get two guys who play the most enthusiastically in the frontcourt and on the wing.

that's a good point - there's no reason we can't get some talented pieces at those picks, solid role players who will help.

the problem to me and the reason I have lost all faith in the organization is the people pulling the trigger. Isiah has an eye for talent, but hasn't been able to put together complimentary pieces, instead we have one of the most redundant rosters in the league. Meanwhile Brown makes no sense for this team, hates pratically all our guards and our big men and doesn't want more kids (he's said he'd like to trade the picks).

so while our options for the draft aren't terrible (2 picks in the 20s could yield at least one good player, maybe 2) - the guys making the picks aren't remotely on the same page, want different things and we have a lot of other roster issues to address. probably the best way to use the picks is to facilitate trades to make Brown happy.
