If isiah is the GM still at the time of such a trade, isn't that somehow basically an admission that he f'd up in giving our pick away without protection?

He basically said there were few players in the draft that he would take over Curry.

And while we can argue about Isiah trading for picks and giving up picks, isn't the history that he gives up high picks and gets back sucky late round picks?

So, how could he even trade the two late picks we have for a better pick? even one in the late lotto like 13-14?

It is the posters whom are adding a lotto pick in return for Statbury, not Isiah.

I doubt any lotto pick comes to us in any such deal unless we offer our two picks in return.

I know that- but even if we include both picks, I doubt any deal isiah does will end up with a high pick coming back.

There are teams out there that are willing to move out of the lottery, and you can bet your ass Isiah will get 1 to save his job.

Seattle, Boston, GS......
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I'd gladly trade picks 24 and 29 and Marbury for pick 9 from Min

if 1 of those 3 decide to trade out, Rod Thorn with his 2 picks in the mid 20's and A-1 cred will outbid Zeke.

You are kidding? We turned our two expiring deals into Jalen Rose and a late first round pick and then we had to add Ariza for the honor of being stuck with Stevie 'oops, did I turn the ball over again, oh my' Francis.

What kind of damage can isiah do with $27m?

Oh, maybe we get shaq?

huh? I wasn't even stating any opinion on what to do with the expiring contracts. I just didn't understand where the $9 mil figure came from.
