Let just cross KG on the Knicks. He has been appointed the Knicks savior and he has no interest in being here. Besides KG who do you see saving the Knicks. Honestly I see no one. I see management chasing a dream that wont happen. Instead I think what you will see is a down grade in talent for the Knicks. Instead of scorers the Knicks should bring in workhorses. This is my list of players who can help the Knicks:

Matt Harpring
Mikael Pietrus
Lorenzen Wright
Carlos Boozer - unpopular choice but he fits the description
Raja Bell
Jamaal Magloire
Stephen Jackson

MAIN TARGETS

Jermaine Oneal - include Frye if you must
Ray Allan

Matt Harpring: Can barely run on his knees.
Mikael Pietrus:Raw. See QDog.
Lorenzen Wright: Good Value banger. See Butler.
Carlos Boozer - If can move Francis or Marbury (3 way)
Raja Bell-I like
Jamaal Magloire-overrated
Stephen Jackson-Knucklehead

MAIN TARGETS

Jermaine Oneal - include Frye if you must
Ray Allan

why do we have to acquire some big time name, would it be so wrong to just acquire a few guys that excel at things that this team is currently weak at, i.e. defense, rebounding, shot blocking?

I would have issue to trade Francis for Boozer. My issue is we traded an expiring deal for Francis. Basically a expiring contract for Boozer, who they were trying to GIVE away during the deadline. If we take Boozer I something from Utah like Giricek included.

- trade Marbury, Nate & the 2 picks to MIN for Hassell, Griffin, Jaric, Hudson & their pick
- trade Francis to ATL for Al Harrington
- buy out Mo T & Big Turd
- sign Mike James

C - Curry / lottery pick
PF - Frye / Griffin / Lee
SF - Harrington / Jalen / Hassell
SG - Q Rich / Crawford
PG - James / Jaric
IR - Malik / Hudson / Butler

^^^^^^

No.

No more carousel. Nate stays. Lee stays. Frye stays. At some point or another, you have to put your foot down & say "No, we're starting a new era".

Can't keep recycling players.

First off, I hate Harrington. So I hope to God we don't get him. He puts up numbers on just about the worst team in the league.

Second, I'd bet my money that the Craptors sign James.

Third, you NEVER buy out an expiring....

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

what carousel? we're exchanging Nate & 2 late round picks to get a top 10 pick... i don't get why anyone would be against that considering we have limited roster space to go around next season to begin with... & trading Marbury for those role players if we can get that pick is worth it for me.

as for Harrington, the Knicks are the worst team in the league right now & Harrington's putting up borderline Allstar calibre #'s at the age of 25... he'd be a huge upgrade over any SF we have right now, i'll tell u that much.

Harrington is versatile and a very good guy, very hard worker. Granted he's in a contract year so playing hard should be a forgone conclusion, unlike our "stars" who are playing out a string.

If Boozer & JR Smith are Knicks by next year's trade deadline I'll be happy. KG/Jermaine are longshots

his #'s have been steadily increasing every year he's been in the league... his is not a case of Eric Dampier syndrome... this kid actually cares & he wants to be the best player he can be... he'll be an Allstar next year, or have #'s that will justify his selection at the very least.

what no superstar to challenge larry's ego...you gotta be kidding

listen up! the only targets we should be going after starting with the #1 target

t-mac: with his back problems and his desire to get out of dodge[houston]pickings for zeke could prove worthy without getting fleeced

target # 2

odom like i said before, franchise for odom straight up

target # 3

j-rich: when we lost allan houston, not only did we lose one of the classiest knicks in the last 20 years, but also a great knick shooter. yes, ray allen is a great choice, but the real sleeper is j-rich.

How is Harrington's perimeter defense??? He developed his 3pt shot though.
