Various things I've found at message boards and articles:

"Vujanic, backup point guard to Clippers' 6-6 Marko Jaric, played 20 minutes and the entire fourth quarter when Yugoslavia blew the game open with a 22-10 period. Vujanic scored six points and had seven assists, making both of his 3-pointers in 20 minutes."

"10. Milos Vujanic, PG, Yugoslavia
NBA Team: Knicks
The Skinny: The 6-foot-4 Vujanic, the Knicks' second-round pick in June, may be the point guard of the future in New York. Vujanic will play this season with his Yugoslavian team, but the Knicks plan to have him for the summer league next July and the 2003 training camp. The kid was good enough that [selecting another point guard) wasn't really a concern," Knicks assistant GM Jeff Nix said. "We had targeted him from last summer. We felt he's the second-best point guard in Europe [behind Jaric]. He pushes the ball, throws it ahead to the open player and works to defend."

"Milos Vujanic, point guard. Some scouts feel the Knicks got a real steal with the 6-4 Vujanic in the second round. He's a quick, athletic point guard who gives the team a real change of pace when Jaric is taking a breather. He loves to push the ball; you're likely to see a quicker team tempo when he's on the floor. He's a scrappy defender and, like Jaric, has a knack for finding the open man."

I can't wait to see him against the US's crop of points ('Dre Miller, B-Diddy, and Jay-Will) at the Worlds, see how he stacks up and if he's really the point of the future.

Scott, working his second round magic. Now if he could only remember to NOT sign them to $7M dollar a year extentions.

I could see Vujanic becoming a great point guard. Hopefully him and Williams develop into our top two point guards in 3 or 4 years.

From Today's post:

Yugoslavia's game against Angola was hideously lopsided, but in 16 minutes, Milos Vujanic, the Yugoslavian guard the Knicks drafted in the second round, still impressed.

"He's got good instincts, good quickness, plays hard," said Knicks president Scott Layden, who watched Vujanic scored eight points and shoot 3-of-4. "It's his feel for the game we talk about all the time, knowing how to play, knowing where the ball should go."

Vujanic, speaking through an interpreter, stressed he is under contract to play in Europe "one more year for sure and then hopes to be in New York" after that.
