Rudy Gay is dumb as hell if this is true. I don't care what his stats were, he's nowhere near ready for the NBA.

Josh Boone staying? crap. I wonder if he would come out with a promise from the Knicks? but he probably wants a lotto promise, eh? I guess playing for New York doesn't have ANY allure anymore...

JC has a lot of pull in the nBA--he knows where the kids will go--he already knows rudy is a top 5 pick--no matter what fans think--look at charlie v so many people thought he wasnt going to be a good nba player including me sometimes its hard to judge a guy when there are so many different talents on the team--rudy will go very high because he has all the physical tools

he got burned on bynum it was the lakers owner who made the call on Bynum. in retrospect, bynum wouldve been greatly served by playing at uconn for 2 years like almost any young player

i think josh will take advantage of another year but his mother's health is a ?

Next years crop of freshmen CBB players is the best one ive seen in twenty years. If these kids were allowed into the draft, you would have maybe 15 of them apply.

If I was josh, I would go this year and train with the guy at hoops the gym. ive known for awhile that they have had discussions with Josh about staying--hence they stopped recruiting two bigs they were after. hes taking the word of jC here which is a good one but if I was in his shoes. i would go get the best trainer get me up to a solid 250 pounds work on my game and apply. I dont think he would slip past 25

did you watch the tourney Boone needs to stay.

Washington's 6' 6 Jamal Williams and GMU's 6' 7 Will Thomas made him look like he was Mugsy Bogues out there.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

thats more a mechanism of college basketball. there are a bunch of great undersized PFs who play well in college but dont translate to the nBA=== Josh is a legit 6-10 with a 7-4 wingspan who can play 4-5 --he can play nba basketball no doubt about it, but he needs a boot camp

Jamal Williams kind of reminded me of Knicks era LJ with his play in the tournie. I like him, but I can't say I see his game translating.

briggs just because charlie scored 48 points does not make him a good NBA player, remember you just criticized frye for being a player on just one end of the floor, well guess what, CV is a defensive mess, so who knows how he will turn out eventually.. We had this discussion already with gay, I told you before the kid was overhyped.. Marcus williams is the real deal, but gay has not shown me a damn thing......

Frye didn't attend UCONN. Don't you know everyone who goes to UNCONN is an all-star or will be one in the NBA

Tht's right, that chump Charlie V couldn't even muster a double-double!!

C'mon man, give it up. A rookie cops 48 on 20-32 including 6-11 3's, with 9 boards and 3 assists, the only thing really anyone should say is that is f'g remarkable and a sign of potential superstardom down the road.
