We have two very good PFs and two other solid ones. Also consider they have 4 solid centers, though none of them good starters they would still do. I think we could trade Spoon or Harrington for Calvin Booth and both teams would fill major needs. We could also make the deal larger and swap Sprewell with Lewis. In addition we could also swap Ward with Anderson because Ward would better fit a back-up role to Payton rather than Anderson. Also Anderson would give us a good starter for at least this year. I could definitely see us make a deal with Seattle before training camp. Thoughts?

yeah, we should trade with them... but what trade exactly happens is a mystery. I think we should give them spoon and ward/eisley, and we should get back anderson.

Why would Seattle trade Lewis for Spree? One more year and Lewis will be as good as Spree, and he'll be younger! And don't say Lewis is going to Dallas becuase that's not going to happen, unless its a sign and trade. No NBA player is going to turn down 60 million and take the minimum. I don't care if he thinks he's worth 80. He's not going to turn down 60. So no Lewis for Spree deal. It's not gonna happen.

rashard lewis is going to be a star in this league---if for some reason it comes down to rashard not taking the 60mmand it looks like a sin and trade senario--this has already been reported as started by the seattle online news we should do whatever it takes to acquire him he hs BETTER stats than scottie pippen at the same age and he is 6-10. i think a package of thomas frankwilliams and apick is much more than dallas can offer sign and trade wise and the knicks could probably secure him if they up the offer to 70mm that money wil just replace sprewells contract in 2 years and takes thomas and williams salary slot the first 2. talk about putting a 22 year old scottie pippen clone on your team at the age of 22? at 17 ans 7 what would he do in the east in his prime maybe 24 -8---5? for now you put sprewell back to 6thman

and go with alineup of
harrington
mcdyess
lewis
houston
strickland
sprewell
doleac
spoon
ward forget center for one moment imagine adding a healthy mcdyess and lewis to this lineup it would instantly change the east.
if we had to give thomas frank williams denvers 2 in 2003 and a1 in 2004 protected to 5 thats a nice package considering he could walk

I'd want to see Vujanic play in the Worlds before trading Williams. One of them is going to be the captain of the future for this team, and if it's not Vujanic and they trade Williams, they will once again be screwed. Milos has looked promising though.

I found ya again, Briggs ! You here too talking about your Rashard trade. Is this guy your son ? You want him to be closer to you don't you ? I haven't seen this post on knicks4life. There's a forum there, you should try it too ! Maybe someone there likes Lewis too. ! ! ! ! ;-)

see ya.
