Does anybody see any improvement in any player we have this year other then JC's shot selection.

It really appears that almost- if not all- of our players have gotten worse

Curry doesn't lower his shoulder and run over people as much and he is starting to kick out when a double team comes.

Q2 started to not just shoot the 3 point shot exclusively. Could be that he moves better cause of his injuries.

Nate started to play under control but has lapsed some.

David is getting better at the 3 spot and is showing an outside shot.

Butler showed that he at least belongs somewhere in this league.

Big game showed why a bucket of chicken is never safe around him.

True but that's not all.

He also showed how you go into a game, kick everybody's ass on the court, score 11 points in 7 minutes, then turn to Larry Brown and say, "That's it. Take Big Game out. That's $5-Million right there. When you want to show Big Game some real money, then you get a whole game out of him."

absolutely he has gotten worse, but he is improving after being broken down by brown. 20/10 in a 20 point blowout may not seem like progress, but I was ecstatic.

I'm happy to see progress in blowouts, I just don't think anybody is absolved from blame for our record.

We have a future, and it's Curry-Fryes with Crawfish.

All quality acquisitions.

Sprinkle in a Jackie B and a couple of Q's and you have the makings of a championship roster (by the way, all three are LB defensive minded players).

We may not have a floor general, but crawford is heading in the right direction.

Curry will be ok. (didn't read all the posts, just commenting on the subject)

It seems as though he's taking a step back, TO's, miss dunks, and defense( the lack thereof ) has been the highlight of his season.

Before the heart condition put him on IR last season he was playing like he was on his way to becoming a real threat. It seems as though he's just thinking way to hard out there, and seems lost 0% of the time.

The only areas he's improved in are rebounding and drawing fouls. Overall he's been a huge disappointment.

Hey give him some credit - he took Larry at his word - "The real good teams make passes to start plays and the teams that struggled, most of their passes are to end plays."

What has mark done with him. Or should we just blame the guards for not getting him the rock., At times they force the issue, other times he is just not in a positon to do anything. To make matters worse, he can shoot beyond 6 ft of the rim, and is simply not as dominate as a shaq, which makes him limited.

The funny thing is both him and James work ethic went into major questioning.
mO taylor, Crawford, steph, J rose, francis, these are some of the worst defenders in the league, and all of whom are pretty much set in there ways.

Take into consideration he was out of shape earlier this yr because he hasn't played since last march due to his heart condition ...

I think as he continued to play game by game this yr not only did his conditioning improved but the fundamentals as well..

His #'s might be down but he seemed to be playing better earlier in the yr, his pasing over the double-team was atrocious and he couldn't rebound for Sh**..

As of now, we've seened some bright spots with Eddy Curry... His rebounding and passing out of the double-team have vastly improved..

personally, i say "Beware for next season with Eddie Curry"

especially since q is gonna work with him this summer

something that curry did not get to do the summer before coming to the knicks and the end of the season

next year should be a breakout year

unless he pratices with jerome james

you can argue that Brown broke Curry down. But I see a player who wasn't worth a first round draft pick, let alone two and certainly not even one without top 10 protection.

In my opinion, Curry has been exposed as a Tim Thomas type player- Potential, potential, potential, but he fails to deliver, for whatever reason.

I know many here might feel uneasy at the thought of this, but we would have been better if we kept Tim Thomas and had him play center.

I think Curry is being overcoached, Brown admitted that could have been the problem with Frye last week and maybe Curry. When the season began Curry would bang into people to go to the basket drawing the occassional offensive foul, now he is overly cautious. He makes sure that he has enough space in the lane, he checks off, and he does this at such a slow pace like 10 secs come off the clock. JJ on the other hand, is the same, he plows into guys without regard and doesn't understand why he got whistle. It is ashame because the guy has talent and it is wasted.

Like i had said previously in this thread, Curry will be find.. I think having LArry Brown as coach is a plus and will only help him to improve..

LArry Brown had David Robinson back as his center for S.A in 1988/89 season. He(robinson) did very well under LArry Brown.. Curry needs a good point guard that will help him escalate his game on the offensive end..

Lately, we've seen some good signs over the last month with Curry.. He looks to be rebounding the ball better, logging more minutes and looks effective with his post moves

Next yr, i think Curry will wreak havoc around the league..

yeah, heck, every game has been a blow out...it's like they have to be down 20 just to practice climbing out of holes in the last few games.
