I dont see any signs whatsoever that gives me hope that this will be anything other than a 25-30 win team. 0 none nada this is an over-rated chemistry mess that will be hard to fix.

After the Francis trade, you were so optimistic! If they start this season with the same roster, I expect little improvement. If Larry and Isiah put their minds together to address team needs, I will expect improvement.

Why wouldn't he help? I've only watched a couple of times but he looks like a solid defender and shot-blocker who could be a good role player. Many people here watch NCAA ball much more than I do. I'm curious what they think about Boone.

A lot of people here are high on he and Hilton. I think their both overrated. 6' 6 Jamal Williams did whatever he wanted in the paint against Boone and Armstrong last night.

NY needs impact players. Need to find a Parker and a Josh Howard or Ginobli with the late pick and not waste it on a 1 dimensional tweak. Thinking like that is why Jerome James got 5 yrs 29 mill.

There is no one answer. Venom has been inflicted upon this team and not just one or 2 player additions will help. The entire philosophy is gonna have be to changed, the attitudes of players. We need vets who can be a positive influence on these guys. Look how much crap is surrounding these guys. Bip was 100% correct on his Allan Houston post. Maybe not him specifically, but the young guys need someone at least like him around them.

These's so much poison surrounding these youthful players they have, and we expect them to turn out to be awesome. It's gonna take awhile guys, and it might be for the better, or may not be.

Did firing Chaney, Lenny, Pat Riley, Don Nelson, JVG, orHerb Williams make us better? NO! (And yes, I know they didn't all get fired) How different will it be with LB? It wont. It will just be another tumultuous coaching change, which will create more turbulence. Hence, we'll get worse.

Ultimately, patience is a virtue, and it's no different in this case.

Get Kyle Lowry to come out as a sophomore from Villanova. The guy is an LB type all the way. Great defense, under control. Can score if he has to score. He will be a star in the NBA.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

i don't believe you... i think you only remembered it after you typed it, & you moved quickly to correct yourself & play it off as if you knew it all along... it's ok, you can come clean... i won't judge you.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Why bother to make a point, and then say I realize it isn't true?
We didn't fire Pat Riley OR JVG OR Herb Williams.
Pat Riley bolted for Miami.
JVG bolted when he saw this team going to pot.
Herb was an INTERIM head coach, and has resumed his duties as an assistant.
So what's your point?
That we fired Don Nelson and Lenny Wilkens? Big deal?

Dude, look at the point, and not the little things. The point was that all the coaching changes did not make the team better and sometimes made us worse. Not once did we get better b/c of the coach.

We got better after firing Don Nelson, and giving reins to JVG.
After that you're right, cuz the team has been on the death spiral
since JVG left. Not saying we should fire Brown, but not convinced
that anything your saying is a good reason to keep him either.
Either you believe in him or not. If you don't, then you don't keep
him just to avoid tumult.

Boone IS NOT the answer.

I am not a big fan of boone's but he is big, athletic, very smart, he blocks shots and rebounds, I don't see how anyone could like reggie evans, chris wilcox and not like boone... Hustle player, intelligent, good defender...
