This organization needs direction...These peeps in management and coaching needs direction...These players needs direction...No more please, I have seen enough, if the season ended tomorrow I wouldn't shed a tear...Larry won....He has succeeded in tanking this team to horrid levels in order to gain power within the organization so he can have more control of it...It has happened...Isiah is now a figurehead... He will now tend to the draft...

Now Larry will be more organized next season, he will have a constant rotation, you will see Frye alot next season..You will see Steph play the way everyone knows he can play..You really didn't believe that mombo jumbo about Larry getting rid of Steph did you? Larry is no fool, he wants to win, and he knows he needs NBA seasoned studs like Steph to win...He knows you don't win by coaching alone, but you also need all-star caliber studs as well....

A few additions and some minor substraction, the Knicks will make the playoffs next year, you heard it here first...Steph will be playing all-star type ball again, larry will get the credit for that of course...Larry will look like a genuis once again and he will be credited with saving this wretched organization from Isiah and Dolan...He will go down in history as one of the greatest coaches ever in the biggest stage in the NBA, Madison Square Garden....

The press will be all over this turn around...Bill Simmons will put out a special edition of how Larry saved the Knick organization from Isiah...Frank Isola, Mike Lupica, and Larry Brown will be seen hugging and jumping for joy on 33rd and &7th shouting we did it...we did it...we did it, as fellow poster at Ultimateknicks.com commense their bashing of holfresh,oohah,rvhoss,Swishfm3, and all the other brave souls who dared to stand up against the great Larry Brown...

I saw this coming ever since Larry began starting players based on their home towns...After reading Broussard and Vessey only confirms my beliefs...So never fear Knicks fans, brighter days and more drama are ahead of us in the coming year...I just can't wait...

if brown really tanked the season like that, he should be fired. a professional coach getting paid 10 million per year, better be trying to win every game. i agree about the team needing direction, everything else not so much. i dont trust larry at all right now, he so far has not helped this orginaztion at all and has seemed down right senile while doing it, i'll give you brighter days may be ahead of us with larry, but its far from a guarantee.

I suppose that's a logical theory, but sometimes I wonder if larry really is tanking, or if he has simply lost his marbles.

I dont think your the only one that thinks that... Ive KILLED Isiah the last 18 months. Essentially since he got Mo Taylor (looked good last night... man up). That being said I have said over and over all we really need are some good glue players. Guys I'm talking about getting are Reggie Evans, Tony Battie and Marcus Banks. NOT KG, KMart, boozer or any other starphuks.

lol... you took the words right outta my mouth... i guess LB must know something that the 3 other NBA teams he's played for couldn't figure out.

I'm with you holfresh. Next year will be a whole lot different and brown will be crowned genious.

I'm just glad march madness is here. Too much woman talk in basketball land.

No offense ladies but you know what I mean.

holfrest,

I posted in another forum that same general idea. LB, makes the team look worse than it is, under guise of finding out who on the team really wants to play and who can play. Then a miracle happens, next year they win 40 games. Forget about the fact they should have won that many this year.

What a genius .... a 20 game improvement in one season.

again, a no win situation. how can you set yourself up for something like that?

SO WHAT if there's a 20 game improvement and lb gets the credit? wouldn't you just be happy that the team went +20?

Of course we will...but the drama getting there is just amazing....What is that starting players in their home town about...People here are giving me a hard time in this forum about saying that Larry is tanking this season...But he essentially confirmed as much when he said that wins were not important this season...Which I agreed with to some extent...When Marbs said he didn't agree with Brown saying that, Brown called him stupid...in not so many words....

If you ask me again about the hire...Brown isn't really worth what he can bring to an organization...He can certainly bring a winning environment...but damn, does he has to make you hate him in the process...He also has other plans than playing the rooks...It just kills me watching MoT and Malik getting burn at this point in the season....

I can't see a move that can be made to better this team. Larry has already talked about making some moves.

The knicks just need consistancy in the back court and experience in the front court. Woods, lee, frye, curry, have to be staples next year. I dunno who is gonna actually be available to the knicks that is worth benching or trading these guys. I could are maybe marbs or Francis traded for a real shooting guard but who is really available?

Whatever happens next year the knicks will definately be a playoff team. Brown will be claiming that the guys finally are playing the right way and all will praise king brown.

I'm thinking crawford has solidified himself as a quality acquisition. Not sure who stays between JRose and Franchise, or if both stay, but the two Qs are as good a 2 and 3 perimeter defending combo as we need.

I'm thinking:
Steph or Franchise or Crawford at the point
QRich or Franchise or Crawford at the two
QWoods or QRich or Lee at the three
4 and 5 are all good with Curry/Frye/JackieB/MRose/DLee and a little hack a shaq JJ.

Hey, I may have implied that I hate larry brown, but that is really not the case, while I didn't expect 20 wins, I did expect it to be rough...

I just didn't expect him to turn the ignorant masses on Zeke who brough in all the players I mentioned above.

I don't think there is anything wrong with rebuilding, and our 20 wins is a huge indication that we are rebuilding.

Let's quick the snipping and look at what we have.

Deep front line, ball handlers and perimeter defenders.

Do we have too many of one? Yes. Do we need to have a trade for a big star to bring us over the top? Not sure. But we do have what we need to contend. LB has been evaluating what is what.

Just couldn't take the extreme bashing of the front office AND at the same time we all say we should have been rebuilding.

We are rebuilding...trust me.
