if you held a gun to my head and say which one i would rather keep if i had to keep one, it would be steph.

but the reality of the situation is that there was a market for francis this deadline. penny's deal was expiring and we had to use it or else it would be a "wasted" asset in isiah's world. best deal we could get without giving up too much was for francis. i see francis as nothing but a 20 game rental that will be traded this summer. for all the crap with steph, francis is much much worse.

with that said, i think steph is gone as well. there probably was a reason jamal or quentin wasn't included in the francis deal.

two ball dominating players are not what lb ordered. i think they both will be gone.

I'd like to trade Both, but I have a feeling we will only move 1.

Who exactly is taking either and what kind of crap will we be forced to take back?

someone will take them, but what will we get back? isles, crap is a very appropo word in this situation.

i think francis will end up in denver, with kmart in ny.
i think steph will end up in minny, but i have no idea what we're gonna get back.

it will be a huge multi-team deal for both guys.

^We would simply end up with too many players in that type of scenario.

Lakers wanted Francis badly but was unable to give the Magic what they wanted was cap space. Odom did not interest the Magic in the least. Kobe was talking about acquiring Stevie ever since he became available. I think the Knicks will get rid of Francis alot easier than Marbury. Lakers, Cavs and now the rumors are starting again about Memphis' interest in Francis. No thanks to Atkins or Stoudamire.

Francis is the one moving. I'm sure of that...cuz like DJ mentioned...there is a market for Francis.

I wouldn't be surprised he is moved on a draft day with one of our picks .

Really? There's not much of a difference in their salaries and Marbury's had a better season than Francis, even before the trade. Marbury also has better passing and shooting skills, two huge requirements for a PG.

I see that happening, Brown already stated that he doesn't want anymore rookies. I guess Odom is most likely head this way. Now the Lakers are really hot for Frye too, so will he be used there or shipped to Cleveland for Snow?

if the lakers are legitimately hot for francis, then francis to la la, odom to utah, and boozer to nyc.

I don't think Odom is going anywhere especially with the way he has been playing the last couple of months.

the stop underrating David Lee movement 1. FIRE MIKE 2. HIRE MULLIN 3. PAY AVERY 4. FREE NATE!!!

I don't know but I think Francis' play is really hurting his value. God I hope one or both are traded, but I am deathly afraid we will be stuck with both...

i think Francis can be traded, but you won't get back much value for him... i don't see any teams out there that'll take Marbury though unless KG pushes hard for him during the offseason... he's just too much of a chemistry killer & his contract is absolutely horrendous.

yeah...adding the draft pick will make it more attractive.

but I think Marbury stays because, as you stated, he is the better passer and shooter. Marbury IS a POINT GUARD and the Knicks still don't have a back up for him. As much as we wish for it, Crawford nor Nate or point guards and I doubt they will ever be one. They may be able to bring the ball up for short periods at a time, but thats about it.

Trading both would be ideal but I think Marbury will be the only one gone.
