There is no way we can get him for an MLE. I knew once this guy got regular PT he was going to deal. This isnt a Jerome James deal, this is just a good young player who didnt get PT.

impressive couple games... let's see if he can keep it up over the long haul... i liked him coming out of college, but never thought he'd be a big scoring guy... expected him to block more shots than he has though... he has the athletic ability to be a defensive intimidator if he ever put his mind to it.

him or Booze for the starting 4, would be happy with either addition. Howeer, he recently stated he wants to stay in Seattle.

I prefer choco-chip, baby! Seriously, I wanted to trade Sweets for him soo many times....Sweets, Ariza, whoever. And the beauty of it is we wouldn't have signed JJ because Wilcox was playing center at the time and was showing perfectly capable of doing it anywhere. Downside we maybe wouldn't have drafted Frye. Upside-if we drafted Frye- (depending on who you are) with Wilcox and Frye, maybe we don't make the Curry trade.

dont praise him just yet...5 games is not a season.

lets see how he does till the end of the season atleast.

he looks like the kind of player that needs to be on the right team to succeed...but i say again, lets see if he keeps this up.

I saw the game last night briggs, he was active.very active, got a lot of dunks and put backs, He is playing for a contract, I am leery of guys in that situation..

He was awesome. He had a great stretchalso when Brand missed about 4 weeks with I believe a hairline ankle fracture a few years ago. Maybe we can do a sign and trade but the MLE wouldn't get him. The MLE might get Nene, though.

agreed... i've seen him play at MSG against the Knicks & he had many lapses on D & didn't look too clued in as to what to do w/the ball when he had it in his hands... could be that he needed playing time, but this recent stretch could also just be a fluke as well... we've seen Mike Sweetney show glimpses of being a dominant post player too, & people went absolutely ga-ga over him hailing him as the next big thing... he can barely break the Bulls' rotation these days.
