15 points 10 rebounds 4 assists

Qyntel is running the floor with more precision and the results are increasing with his confidence. I like the fact he always looks to pass first.

Wood's crisp, behind-the-back dribble, IN TRAFFIC is something that cannot be taught. Once he gets to the rack, it's over.

Jalen (Wally Pipp) Rose should have never simply looked at a loose ball.

Should Qyntel dedicate himself over the Summer, we should ALL thank our lucky stars for the vision of employed in his convenient acquisition

Q Woods is Brown's pick up. Nice pick for him too. He is an upgrade over Ariza except Ariza is a better defender.

Isiah gets all the credit in the world when it comes to drafting and picking up players for nothing, but when you talking about ruining the fabric of the team thats all him

You can get Woods for nothing Along with Bulter the two of them combine give you more production that Q and JJ and they cost you 11 million less.....

I liked how quickly he gets off the floor and dunks the ball and also has a good nose around the basket and is very active, from what I have seen hes still young and can be a nice rotation player........

This team can be dangerous if they get rid of their guards Steph, Craw, and Francise but in order to do so you are going to have to give up Frye and both of our picks and possibly something else which I am not opposed to doing......

Because Butler is going to be a solid big off the bench, as with Nate and Lee, Q can be a starter if he continues to work hard, and if we can get Curry and James in shape there is no reason we can't become a good team

Isiah said he wasnt going to sign QWoods but Larry wanted him. Point blank Isiah said this is Larry's guy. Why are you so up Isiah's butt? Isiah did want Jerome James if that makes you feel better. He gets all the credit there.

fish.mike - you slay me.

Okay you win, Isiah is the anti Christ. Can we please be done with who gets credit for signing whom?

Start Qyntel for the rest of the season and let's see how he works. We already know the level Jalen Rose can play.

Qyntel is also beter than Morrison

i agree that Q Woods should be getting playing time... either Jalen or Malik can't be logging minutes at the 3 anymore this season... Qyntel needs to be here next year, that's all i know.

Yeah, Larry liked Woods so much that HE brought Rose here to make him a 5 minute player... just an ironic comment.

Woods should be our starting SF, simple.

DarkKnicks - what about Qyntel's skill set is there NOT to like?

1. He's unselfish and always thinks pass first

2. He has three point range

3. He goes strong to the rack and can elevate with the best of them. Iwatched him in warmups in Atlanta and didn't know he had titanium springs in his knees.

4. He can put the ball on the floor in traffic and simply has not discovered his confidence level with the ball in his hands. If he does, watch out.

5. He is learning the angles and rebounding better.

6. he runs the floor well and uses a long stride to glide faster than he appears

7. I love a good comeback story

8. He's only 25

9. He's 6'8

10. He's only a mentor, and one personal epiphany, away from being a consistent contributor... perhaps a star - depending on his level of committment and opportunity

Start Qyntel and let him grow into his game!

>>starter? I dunno...

Coming from McK1 That's good enough for me.

Why NOT start Qyntel and find out?

At absolute worst, he is Mister Dynamite off The Pine with next year's starter at lead guard - Jamal Crawford

If I ruled the world -

Crawford and Stevie at lead guard (Nate stays)

A reformed Jalen Rose at off guard to assist with advanced ball handling, Qyntel swings to guard when the need calls for more tenacity on defense or rebounding

Qyntel or Frye at point forward - to hit the open man

The rugged David Lee at big forward with Tyrus Thomas in training

Curry at center backed by a more confident Jackie Butler

I have to agree with misterearl: Who cares who's idea it was to sign Qyntel. Hopefully LB will come up with great signings and so will Isiah and TOGETEHER AS A TEAM we will have a team of great signings. Stop buying into the media nonsense and realize we win as a team no matter who's idea it is. We need our GM's and coach's to no longer compete against each other and work together. In this instance LB wanted Q and Isiah went out and got him. THAT'S THE WAY IT SHOULD WORK. Yeeeeesh.

Personally I think Jalen has the upper hand on the SF spot deservedly. But he better work on his D over the summer or else Q will be starting a year earlier than expected. The staff has done an absolutely phenomenal job developing this guy both in his skills, hustle and mental approach to the game. If they had handed him everything he probably would be out beating dogs right now.
I just hope that people will like me

You know what I like about Crawford coming off the bench? He sees himself as the leader of the second unit and that confidence makes him so much better.

True, though he doesn't look to pass off too much when Steph or Francis is not on the floor. I think Craw is like Steph in the way he is scare to trust his teammates. Craw rather put up a difficult shot then pass off to Frye. Now he will get Curry the ball.

he's the only one w/any balls on this team when it comes to making big plays down the stretch other than Nate Robinson... David Lee & Qyntel are showing signs lately, but they can't create their own shot like Nate & Craw can... both of them should not be traded because we need guys who are fearless on this team & don't shy away when the pressure is on like some of our overpaid, overrated "star" players seem to do on a regular basis.

Jalen's really been shooting the ball well & has been a positive addition to this team also... it's too bad we can't merge Jalen & Q Woods together.

they'd form a young, athletically gifted swingman who can rebound, shoot from the perimeter, orchestrate an offense, make smart decisions w/the ball, score in the post, run the floor, finish, & has an improving defensive game.
